Stop assuming all your players are dumb. Don't be afraid to implement deep skill trees, dual class systems, etc., in RPGs especially. I want a character who does some things, not all of the things.
If it's not third person mode, I'll grab the game in a few years when it's 75%+ off.
Some genres are just better for procedural generation than others. Like, for a Diablo-like, or a musou game, level design doesn't actually matter all that much, so procedural generation is a great way to get more content.
There's also games with pseudo-procedural generation like Warframe. That is, the individual rooms are all hand-crafted, but the combination and connections of those rooms are procedural. Meaning that it's the best of both worlds.

No more PvP games, ever.

Much less time spent in cooperative online games too, but I'm still up from some Warframe, Guild Wars 2, or Diablo 3.

I actually finish the large majority of my games now.

I no longer fret over not having all the dlc quests/expansions. The best content is usually the base story anyway.
In my opinion, the only games that are acceptable on mobile are turn-based games. They're a great home for tb tactics games like Shining Force, and FF Tactics. Also card games and puzzles of course.

Curses myself for not playing Peppa Pig or something.
I'm gonna go with Persona 5 Tactica even as a fan of Persona and tactics games. It was just so boring I couldn't finish it.
