I'm just glad Kissinger is dead so we don't have to read this exact headline about that motherfucker.

Which monster will they parade out next? Dracula? The Wolfman? Hitler's teeth from the Soviet archives? The contents of Fort Detrick? The asteroid that killed the dinosaurs? Literally Death itself?

The year is 2032. The election is between Haz Al-Din/Joe Rogan for the democratic ticket and Hans Kristian Graebener/David Duke for the GOP ticket. Democrats will be celebrating Donald Trump endorsing the Haz ticket alongside endorsements from Carl Benjamin, Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson who all share delight that the democratic party has "learned their lesson"

HE LITERALLY STOLE AN ELECTION

I mean this in all seriousness: if you were to show this to any and I mean ANY democratic voter in 2007 they would immediately become a communist

he's THE DEVIL

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 40 points 1 week ago (2 children)

And hes condemning trumps attempt to steal the last one. This is a bad joke

Literally in the top 5 of most evil US political figures still alive

Also, that PHRASING

Cheney, seen as an influential figure during the presidency of George W Bush...

So 'influential' is the term we're using for warmongering, oil stealing, corrupt ass bastard that should've been beaten to death? That's the passive voice we use to describe one of the most powerful and wicked men to walk this earth?

Democrats rated the bias of BBC News as Center, and close to Lean Left. Independents and Republicans rated BBC News as Lean Left...

Herr Himmler, seen as an influential figure during the chancellorship of Adolf Hitler

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 34 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Literally a former party whip, chief of staff, secretary of state, and vice president. He's one of the most powerful men in the country. "Influential figure" is some next-level passive voice.

[–] Wertheimer@hexbear.net 23 points 1 week ago (1 children)

secretary of state

Secretary of Defense

Maybe this needs to be stated for zoomers/young people:

Dick Cheney used to be known, correctly, for being the biggest asshole, evil, greedy, "rip from the copper wire from the walls, melt the children in the mines, do anything it takes to make me more money!" person to ever sit in a seat of power so high. A driving force in the Bush admin, almost appearing to eclipse the president at multiple points, for the two major wars in Afghanistan and Iraq leading to millions of deaths and destabilization still ongoing. Mostly for his personal enrichment, btw. That part is always key to mention. It was never for any "git the terrists!" Bushism bullshit, it was purely to dump government funds into private contractors to kill, torture, assassinate people (never given due process in an international court), destroy buildings and everything else and then rebuild it with private contractors...

If this man can be welcomed back into society, we might as well just let in Hitler. Oops, Elon already beat me to that one! Always ahead of the game!

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 48 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

And that's just from his tenure as VP. He was also the republican whip while he was in congress, white house chief of staff, and secretary of defense. His entire career is the most heinous shit for the worst of republicans. He's one of the guys who benefitted from Iran-Contra, shock therapy in former soviet countries, and so on.

The worst part is, this is only the stuff we know of. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he knew about 9/11 before it happened but decided it would be good for business to have a pretense for plundering Afghanistan.

[–] Justice@lemmygrad.ml 28 points 1 week ago (2 children)

For sure. We know the CIA/FBI both had multiple warnings of terrorist attacks inside the US. We can be absolutely sure Cheney was aware. Bush probably too. Definitely Bush's father would be reading and getting reports from his CIA pals. The question is basically how much sitting on their hands hoping it would be a "bad one" worthy of exploitation to do endless wars vs incompetence on US' part vs competence on the part of bin Laden, et al.

I'm 100% not joking or memeing when I say I would not be surprised in the least if we found out one day that Bush Sr and W worked with Cheney and bin Laden family (old Bush family acquaintances/friends. Not necessarily with Osama, but the family), Saudi Arabia for sure, maybe Israel, this massive collaborative effort to "oops! They blew up some towers! Gotta do war now!"

The "coincidences" and ties between the bin Ladens/Bushes is too deep and too on the nose to ignore. The second richest family in Saudi Arabia, dealing directly with a former CIA director, 2x VP, 1x POTUS and his son a governor and then fresh president at the time. And their son just happens to be the one who orchestrated a large attack that just happened to go basically fully through as planned, recorded, used as perfect propaganda to do everything Cheney and co had been dreaming of since like the 1970s post-Nixon.

Come on, man!

[–] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 24 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Dick Cheney is so evil I want to make a post that would get me banned and removed as a mod from hexbear.

Just imagine it was really really funny.

Trying to imagine a ppbcheney post so vile even hexbear denounces you is actually funny, thanks for the prompt

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 32 points 1 week ago

Since liberals have the memory of a goldfish, there was a movie made about Cheney, Vice, not too long ago that very clearly details the evil shit he's done. So yeah it's not much of a stretch to tout Hitler voting for Harris i-am-adolf-hitler

[–] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 45 points 1 week ago

Every money beg from the dems I tell them they've become the party of Bush and Cheney. Really rub their noses in this shit. They are more than happy to give consesions to neocons but when it comes to progressives it's FALL IN LINE YOU LITTLE SPOILED SHITS OR YOU SUPPORT DRUMPF!

[–] TankieTanuki@hexbear.net 40 points 1 week ago (5 children)

Wasn't this exact liberal fever dream lampooned by a post in hexbear this week? Or were they dreaming of W? Now it's real. I just can't deal with this onion-ass shit being real.

AND like, don't get me started on libs not seeing their universally-reviled Cheney's approval as a bad sign for dem voters. How. How?

[–] Evilsandwichman@hexbear.net 32 points 1 week ago

don't get me started on libs not seeing their universally-reviled Cheney's approval as a bad sign for dem voters. How. How?

You mean the same people who are actually trying to whitewash Bush's image just because they really hate Trump? At this point if Satan came up out of the ground and said he'd vote for Kamala they'd take it as a sign that he was now one of the good guys.

Libs basically have the intelligence of AI; they start from the basis that Kamala MUST be good, so anyone who sides with her must also be good. If Adolf Hitler came back and said he's voting for Kamala they'd say it clearly shows Trump must be worse (although now that I think about it, if Stalin came back and said he's voting for Kamala then they'd rethink their position).

[–] ClimateChangeAnxiety@hexbear.net 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They were dreaming of W because Liz Cheney said she was voting for Kamala

That was it, thanks!

[–] viva_la_juche@hexbear.net 18 points 1 week ago

They think Kamala gave such a high road ass west wing speech that even dick Cheney is forced to say “wow you were right all along”

Literally heartless ghoul... oh wait, he did get to cut in line to get some kid's donor heart, and offered, direct quote, "generic thanks" when prompted by the media. kombucha-disgust

[–] the_post_of_tom_joad@hexbear.net 17 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Wait he literally said "generic thanks"?

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yes. He said, literally, "I give generic thanks" when the press prompted him.

I slightly got the literal words wrong, but it's bad.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/cheney-doesnt-know-heart-donor-182242884.html

"The way I think of it from a psychological standpoint is that it’s my new heart, not someone else’s old heart," Cheney continued. "And I always thank the donor, generically thank donors, for the gift that I’ve been given, but I don’t spend time wondering who had it, what they’d done, what kind of person."

"I'm honored to have their endorsement," said Harris at Penzeys Spices in the Strip District, on a break from debate preparation where she greeted patrons and bought spices. She said both Cheneys were making a courageous statement that "it's okay, if not important, to put the country above party."

It's not even tacit acceptance or ignoring it, she says she's honored. Democrats have no memory of anything before 2016. Everything they hate Trump for, Cheney and Bush did all of them. They stole an election, they demolished Iraq and Afghanistan, they militarized the border and started ICE, they targeted Muslims, they gave tax cuts to the rich. They just didn't send mean tweets. Cheney is Satan incarnate and they say this.

Very weird possessive language there.

[–] Findom_DeLuise@hexbear.net 21 points 1 week ago

It's to distinguish her from the Republicans' Kamala Harris, who is set to be released upon humanity some time next week to feast on its context and all which came before.

[–] largerfather@hexbear.net 14 points 1 week ago

Fits with my assessment of modern democrats being essentially Bush-era neocons but "woke."
