It's funny that it's been well over a year and I have never seen a single article referring to X without clarifying that we're talking about the social media platform formerly known as Twitter and I have never seen a person refer to it as X.

I think he cleared the very low bar of being better for unions than Obama, Clinton, or Carter, despite literally breaking a rail strike. So that's the best in over 50 years. I have found myself wondering if I might not be a communist if he had gotten elected in 2008 instead of Obama because he genuinely seemed more open to making progressives happy at first. Then the progressive stuff expired and he reimposed austerity on his own economic achievements while big corporations raked in profits shrug-outta-hecks

People aren't centrists. They want big changes to things. They don't want a lot of nothing. They want one big thing. It's a different thing for everybody. And they want somebody that they think will fight for them. Donald Trump may be a dumb liar but he has presented himself every day as someone that will fight for his people. Kamala told everybody on the left to fuck off, the genocide will continue and we're going to have a sensible border wall. And she was going to put a republican in her cabinet. Am I losing my god damn mind? Does the average democrat voter want a republican cabinet?

It's probably going to be a bad time for trans people. I expect a lot more laws preventing trans people from playing sports in high school. I'm worried about migrants, homeless, Gaza but I already was. There will probably be more abortion restrictions in more states. Conservatives might get like a 7 or 8 seat majority on the supreme court.

Now that the democrats have been cast into the desert again, liberals might start pretending to care about our issues again. But they did not pretend. They made it clear that we would not have a seat at the table with Kamala and now we still won't have a seat at the table and neither will they.

I didn't know how jokerfied I've gotten because while I'm still disappointed that Trump is going to be president again, it's also hilarious that she did even worse than Hillary. The democrats are an absolutely terrible party. I'm sad Trump won and glad Kamala lost. She was talking about protecting black people's crypto and campaigning with the Cheneys and would not take a stance for or against anything, even against genocide.

I don't think it works when the candidate was palling around with the Cheneys. The left didn't having any hopes to dash.

If we had had this powerful word 2 months ago, we could have annihilated the kkkapitalist uniparty with it. negative

The second half of the page is more of the same. Pretty sure you don't need a special kit to wipe your screen with a little rubbing alcohol.

every day, millions of people go to work and build, maintain, invent, or use the means of production to generate revenue. Then once a quarter, a bunch of people get together and decide how much of that money to pay, in dividends and buybacks, to the shareholders, who legally own the very means of production mentioned earlier. That isn't a get rich quick scheme, it's a get rich slow scheme. And just like in any scam, they are not giving you anything back. You are paying them from your surplus value.

Shareholders trade shares between each other, but they rarely buy shares from the company so they literally do not transfer money to the company on a regular basis, and the amount raised through issuing shares is very small compared to the amount companies pay shareholders over time. So they are very literally not paying you to work for them.

Then some guy shows up where you live and says he has a legal document that means he owns your home, so you have to give him half your paycheck.

I'm not a lawyer, but I know tech companies run social media platforms to create data models about users for ad platforms. It seems to me that they could attempt to integrate themselves into a fediverse network and still harvest data, and not even provide services. So perhaps a software license could require that content posted to the platform by users is by default licensed under CC-BY-SA-NC or something that would prevent this.

I think I've actually been using it for pain management in denial about it chomsky-yes-honey

I'm literally doing physical therapy right now. As in, I'm doing my assigned exercises literally right now.

Every night I take this stuff, I'm thinking about how good my body will feel, and yeah, sure, I feel relaxed and good and I like to think about weird stuff, but seriously also thinking about how good my body will feel. I'm looking forward to how good my feel when I fall asleep in a bit. I'm literally expecting to sleep better because of it.

I did this stuff years ago but I don't remember being this aware of "good feeling body". And yeah, my body feels bad and I'm doing physical therapy.

Am I gonna have to start taking ibuprofen all the time chomsky-yes-honey

Golf courses? Monoculture farming? Suburbs? Highways? Wall Street landlords? People not living in commie blocks? Good luck with that $25,000 for first time buyers though.
