Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Wake Me Up When September Ends but it's about coping with the end of Biden's reelection campaign.

Wake Me Up When September (11th) Ends

[–] HelluvaBottomCarter@hexbear.net 45 points 2 months ago

This is like one of those posts someone made on a web forum in 2005 before returning a week later.

[–] SpasmodicColon@hexbear.net 45 points 2 months ago

Huh, wonder where all that "this is the process you need to suck it up and go with it" energy went.

[–] NapoleonBlownApart@hexbear.net 35 points 2 months ago

So democracy isn't on the line and vote blue no matter who doesn't mean anything?

[–] FnordPrefect@hexbear.net 33 points 2 months ago

How is this not a bit? I mean:

Just because he did this when the other option you presented him was [worse], does not in anyways make it a choice

in their passionate defense of Biden? susie-laugh

[–] nasezero@hexbear.net 26 points 2 months ago

[–] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 25 points 2 months ago

Dropped out, whiner.

[–] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 23 points 2 months ago (2 children)

What's the West Wing equivalent of going on a mass shooting? Cause I think he's gonna do whatever that is.

[–] GrumpigPoopBalls@hexbear.net 18 points 2 months ago (1 children)

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 22 points 2 months ago

It's like you can hear the cravings creep in in that last couple paragraphs, he's talking himself out of leaving

[–] WhatDoYouMeanPodcast@hexbear.net 21 points 2 months ago

A president is a servant. They're someone who does what we say they should do. We cannot backstab Biden, he can only backstab us by not doing what we say he should do. That's not my boss. That's not even my leader. We are his leader. Otherwise, how could we call ourselves sovereign citizens with self-determination?

Unless, of course, there is another political philosophy that does a better job at giving people the opportunity to self-govern and decide how the spoils of labor get divided. Can anyone think of one?

[–] InternetLefty@hexbear.net 17 points 2 months ago

I bet he was shaking writing this. He should at once be sent out to the country side to work with the people and temper his spirit

[–] viva_la_juche@hexbear.net 16 points 2 months ago

lol bud you run a stupid Twitter account

[–] SerLava@hexbear.net 16 points 2 months ago

What a weird and sad guy

[–] TreadOnMe@hexbear.net 13 points 2 months ago

When they backstabbed Bernie was the last time I voted Democrat (and I was only doing it reluctantly before), because I have more integrity in a single hair on my ballsack than this person does in their entire body.

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 12 points 2 months ago

I've got plenty of integrity. I'm bursting at the seams with it. Plenty more than Joey Genocide

[–] flan@hexbear.net 11 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Amazon, the company owned by Washington Post founder Jeff Bezos, famously has what they call “Leadership Principles”. It is a list of values that they believe leaders should hold. One of those values is “Disagree and Commit” and according to the Amazon website it means you should vocalize your disagreement but when the rubber meets the road you need to commit fully. As a lib I respect Mr. John Bezos more than anyone else and I think you also should, Twitter guy. You could learn a thing or two from a Billionaire who is wise beyond his years.

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 5 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Jeffrey Bozos most certainly is not a founder of the Washington Post, but he does own it

[–] booty@hexbear.net 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

If he wasn't innovating then whys he a billionaire, genius smuglord

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 2 months ago

[–] EmoThugInMyPhase@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago (2 children)

He founded it and invented it

[–] Findom_DeLuise@hexbear.net 5 points 2 months ago

He starts and ends Zoom meetings by rubbing his hands together, doing the Kubrick stare, and intoning, "DEMOCRACY DIES IN DARKNESS." lord-bezos-amused

[–] PoY@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 2 months ago

i apologize for the libel and slander

[–] Owl@hexbear.net 7 points 2 months ago

Still love the truck though.

[–] LocalOaf@hexbear.net 5 points 2 months ago

This might be the one Biden or bust voter that isn't one of his family members or employed by his campaign

[–] ExotiqueMatter@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 2 months ago
[–] quarrk@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

Still love the car, though
