The 2004 presidential race was between the Republican incumbent President George W. Bush and his Democratic challenger John Kerry, senator from Massachusetts. Because Kerry’s wife, Teresa Heinz, was related to the Heinz family who founded a food processing company, a group of New York City Republicans started their own ketchup company to avoid eating Heinz ketchup.

Using a label picturing George Washington, W Ketchup was introduced in 2004 with the advertising slogan “You don’t support Democrats. Why should your Ketchup?” (Teresa Heinz was not a majority stakeholder in the Heinz Company.) The product was distributed through internet sales and no proceeds were contributed to political campaigns. The W Ketchup company ceased production in 2015.

Once inside, Harris hugged and comforted a crying customer, telling the older woman that, “We’re going to be fine. We’re all in this together.”

Harris’ X/Twitter account then posted, “I look forward to using my new seasonings from Penzeys Spices in Pittsburgh at our next Sunday family dinner.”

After that, conservative Fox News dug up Penzeys’ left-leaning history and right-wing influencer Laura Loomer began howling about boycotts. Fox News called Penzeys the “meanest spice business in America,” while Trump derided its “Terrible Over-Priced Product.”

I know it's now an old saw but it's amazing how bad google and youtube can be. I just learned the term translight and I wanted a short video example yet I couldn't find one that didn't involve marketing. There must be some such results at youtube but if google's search algos are shit - google and youtube will never give show them to me.

Translight

A Translight or Translite is a large illuminated film backing typically used as a backdrop in the film and TV industry. The name of Translite originally came from the black-and-white display film made by the Eastman Kodak Company. Pacific Studios in Los Angeles was the sole producer of Translites from about 1950 until about 1979. Technicians there projected images in a darkroom onto the film in strips, which were then removed and processed by hand in tanks by the darkroom crew.

The strips were seamed with tape; then oil paint was applied to the assembled picture for a tinted color effect. The name gradually was applied to any transparency lit from behind and used as a background picture for feature films or television production. Full-color printing of a Translight was first used on the motion picture One from the Heart.
