Neat. Might have to bust out the ol' PS TRIPLE

I haven't looked into it in a while, but it used to be one of those things where you had to be lucky enough to have a certain firmware.

PS TRIPLE games are free now if you have a decent PC as well

I've ordered from Aliexpress a bunch of times and never had a problem except for it sometimes being slow. There's lots of random stuff on there that's incredibly hard to find over here. This shit sucks.

To me it just seems like they're being set up to become like a permanent occupying force like the US in the middle east. At some point they'll have to draw a line somewhere I would think.

edit: just having a really hard time imagining a scenario where this doesn't continually devolve I guess, not trying to be a doomer or anything, and like I said, I know basically nothing about the conflict.

I haven't been following Ukraine beyond headlines, but with the news that the US will supply them with long range missiles I'm wondering what the win condition for Russia is?

I'm basically talking out of my ass so correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like they've successfully called Russia's bluff about escalating the war beyond Ukraine. I know Russia has tried multiple times to end the war through various deals, and they've also been very very careful about avoiding unnecessary civilian casualties. It is obvious at this point that the west wants the war to continue by any means necessary.

I'm just thinking like... Is there a world where Russia holds a line in the sand and appeals to the rest of the world to force Ukraine to negotiate? Like pull back to Crimea and Donbass or whatever and assume a defensive posture? I just don't see a way out for them at this point. I hate to say it but it does seem like this whole thing has been pretty successful at slowly sapping Russia's capabilities and leaving them with fewer options.

How do you win against an enemy with no soul and unlimited resources? Is it possible for them to "win" through PR? I fully believe the invasion was justified, and Russia has conducted itsself with great restraint. Is that story getting told to the rest of the world?

Idk man, the missiles thing got me feeling some type of way. Fuck the USA.

Blessed by the algorithm again, Someone posted this a couple weeks ago but its too good not to post again.

Its a lyrical miracle that I'm here-ical and not in my bed curled up spherical.

edit: looks like they're having some issues keeping the stream going - hopefully it comes back on soon

Yes, we all know the media class is awful, and this isn't anything particularly new - but the reporting around the price gouging proposal is some of the worst I have ever seen. NYT, CNN all completely blowing the proportions of what the bill does completely out of the water.

The proposal would not affect the current record high grocery prices at all - it only prevents gouging during or immediately after a national disaster. So if there were another nation wide pandemic - the proposal would come into play.

37/50 states or something like that already have similar laws on the book - and yet you have economists out here acting like this will single highhandedly tank the economy, when it isn't likely to affect anything very much in our entire lifetimes.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills from both ends. The bill itsself is basically a nothing burger and I was really disappointed when I looked into it - the media's response to it makes zero sense except in the context of class war for class war's sake.

I kinda feel like Kamala's team are purposefully announcing policies that sound progressive but don't actually do anything on purpose. I hate this shit. I hate the media. I hate dems.

Voting for Copmala is officially a good bit. I don't like it any more than you do.

Already given him important advice such as:

If you ever want a break just ask your co-workers what harry potter house they are - libs love that shit 20 minute break easy.

and

If you're going to quit / get fired just start telling callers you're taking donations to get Bill Clinton's name removed from the Epstein flight logs.

Open to other helpful suggestions

Edit: His description of his supervisor is hilarious but I dunno how much I can share. Apparently they got a Glengary Glen Ross style motivational speech today. This is the best thing to happen to me in a while hahaha

isaac-pog

best part is at 37 seconds when even the stoic synthesizer guy has to give it up to the horns

It started as a joyride
Just a way to let off steam
But now we're running off the road
'Cause you're asleep at the wheel

Which way do you choose?
'Cause right now I choose you
Do you still think of me fondly?
Do you still think of me?

I'm tryna broach the distance
That's growing in our lives
From the night until the morning
Like we're on different drugs

Did I say too much?
Did I take too much?
The temptation to vacate
Seduces us
