Baba Is You. It's easy to play and understand, fucking brutal the whole way through.

Man, this has got to be the worst suggestion I've ever heard for gaming!
I don't think I've ever felt chills from a videogame.
Probably my most memorable emotional videogaming experience comes from Mass Effect 1, which I played near release as a teenager and again just a year ago as an adult. Same reaction both times. I can't help but swell with pride when Shepard becomes the first human Spectre.
My wife will game very infrequently with me, maybe an hour or two every three months. We play almost exclusively co-op games. We played Castle Crashers, Battleblock Theater, and Overcooked together.
It's essentially a remaster. Different graphics. They changed a few areas. Better combat mechanics.
"Not only that, keeping Jobs around and forcing people to work when they are contributing zero to society, is morally reprehensible."
The alternative is those people and their family starve. We live in a society of excess, but only to those that are already wealthy.
