Why doesn't she say, "it belongs to my teddy bear, look next to the bed!" This has got to be a parody of the cinema trope where characters choose not to give the easy explanation that would solve the problem instantly

I don't get it. The premise is that he lifted weights but DIDN'T want attention from people?

I can't wait for AI to generate enjoyable music.

I don't listen to music anymore because it's impossible to discuss with people without sludging through toxicity, gatekeeping and hostility. Most channels are filled with stuff I don't like. Advertisements shriek in my ears after every song. It's awful.

Someday I'd like to just hear music that I like without all the bullshit.

Why are you saying everyone else is wrong?

Got it, thanks

You're projecting; I'm not the one getting into a disagreement on the internet. I posted a top-level comment and people (including you) disagreed with me. You are guilty of the thing you are accusing other people of. That's projecting.

Using the term "hypocritical" to describe my content when I've kept true to my original statement is false. You didn't follow it up with any support so I'll dismiss it as brain clutter, which it is.

If you're digging through my post history and trying to prove that I'm a troll, it's not because you care about my users, it's because you're personally offended. You haven't mentioned a single user except me. You're falsely claiming to care about other people when what you're really doing is picking a fight and losing. Take it back to the schoolyard, kiddo. This isn't for you.

Same treatment as the others; I'll be blocking you without reading your next comment to verify that you've read and understood my response.

It's equally as likely as the original greentext story

You have completely missed the point of my comment. Not sure if it's critical thinking or reading ability but I couldn't have been more clear so I'm not sure how to help you. Best of luck.

I found the source.

General question about Lemmy:

If I as an instance owner search & subscribe to another instance's community, I get "federated" with that community. Does that mean my instance is, or my user is?

Second question:

If I want users at my instance to see posts from communities on other instances, is there a way for me to pull those posts in to my instance? Or, how do I get my users to see other communities' content?

I created my instance after getting tired of Reddit.

It's just me for now. I'm hosted on Elestio, running in Docker, goal is to curate info and relationships with good people. Let me know if you need any more info, please.

Canned bread is made by pouring a cornmeal and molasses "batter" into a can, where it is "steamed until it rises." Unlike bread that is baked and then bagged, which can leave it vulnerable to mold growth, the steaming and canning process helps to ensure that your can of brown bread lasts.

What's the process? Is the list federated, meaning, does my joining this list populate available instances across the fediverse? Or is it isolated to join - Lemmy?

Sorry this isn't really a question

She doesn't listen when i tell her how i want to be treated. I don't owe her an explanation about why it hurts. It should be enough to say "this hurts me". She never, ever changes her behavior no matter what i say. It's always my fault when i get hurt.

Where is the favicon - is there any documentation around changing it?

I'm not talking about the instance icon, I mean the favicon (svg or ico? png?) which appears in your bookmarks if you bookmark a site.

I'm running in docker

Please let me know what information you need to understand my situation? or if there's anything I can do to help?
