Xbox has more kid friendly stuff i'd argue (if thats what your going for), a good chunk of the games are either rated E for everyone or T for teen. Its also got a monthly subscription service called gamepass that gives you a bunch of games that you can play for (basically) free if your looking for something more cost effective.
The only problem is the storage it gets, 1 terabyte isn't much for how much space certain games take up and you'll likely end up buying an ssd for your console to hold more games
I couldn't really tell you much about the ps5, the last ps console I owned was a ps2 ages ago.
