Man, if this were happening to a blue state, conservatives would be screeching and cheering that "God must be punishing them".

Instead they're screeching about how those damn democrats are using weather control technology that we've apparently had for 20+ years LMAO

[–] Sludgeyy@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

We have had weather modification technology for 20+ years.

First known use in war was in 1967, called Operation Popeye.

Now could the government create a category 5 hurricane? Very farfetched.

AI helps the Jewish space lasers control weather and spread COVID more efficiently, thereby speeding up the Great Replacement and the kidnapping and consumption of your dogs and cats.

/s, obviously, unless I'm not.

You should see the shit ass comments they've been making around the flooding in Asheville, they've been doing exactly that.

So shitfunny, that over a few days' time, they can have the cognitive dissonance to go:

  • "Hey, see, God hates libs, check out Asheville LULULULULULUULLL"
  • "Hey, the government has a weather control machine that's sending a hurricane to Florida! DAMN LIBS!!!!"

Like, I don't even.

Edit: Woops, didn't see that @cm0002@lemmy.world already made 50% of my comment.

These tornadoes are crazy big

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Holy shit! Is that in Florida today?

[–] archomrade@midwest.social 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Yup, pretty sure it's the same one along i75

There was another huge wedge tornado by Yeehaw Junction a little while ago, but it was shrouded in rain so there aren't any good images of it. That one was reportedly uprooting trees, too

edit: there are a few videos of these here. I haven't watched because I can't be bothered to turn off my adblock

This picture of the apparent tornado, with alleged clouds and, i guess, some type of 'land' was captured with what has been reported to be a camera of some sort.

Honestly, doesn't look too bad in Naples. Englewood's starting to look pretty nasty though.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Bad enough that maybe you shouldn't take your kids to the beach right now?

[–] YaDownWitCPP@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

I probably wouldn't make a day trip out of it, but I don't see anyone in immediate harms way here.

Edit: Now those idiots on the beach in Englewood right now...that's another story. Mandatory evac and they're inviting people to watch them drown on live cam.

[–] dnick@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

Hey, where's all the water going all of the sudden?
