"Fellas, is it gay to use a straw?"

Fragile snowflake weirdos more obsessed with dicks than I am, and I'm gay as fuck.

[–] The25002@lemmings.world 64 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It is important to keep stressing the "weirdo" line. It's super effective.

[–] thisbenzingring@lemmy.sdf.org 17 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Calling a reactionary a weirdo got me banned in one of the political communities recently. Mod called it attacking language

[–] Radiantprime 25 points 2 months ago

That mod is a weirdo

[–] WhatAmLemmy@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Name and shame. The top of every sub should include a breakdown of the mods and their moderation stats. The way it's currently designed enables propaganda and misinformation as much as Reddit ever did.

[–] thisbenzingring@lemmy.sdf.org 12 points 2 months ago

it was on politics @lemmy.world, it was jordanlund

the comment that was removed that got me banned for questioning the mod

Removed Comment >bluemaga LoL making up shit and trying to make it stick is so ambitious. Good luck weirdo.

I like to suck on straws with milkshakes so hard, that my cheeks implode.

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Like a reverse Louis Armstrong.

Only if you suck until the creamy goodness reaches your lips.

[–] oce@jlai.lu 7 points 2 months ago

Depends if the straw was made from fossilized unicorns or not.

[–] lurch@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Are you using staws in your vanilla ice cream shakes tho?

[–] Empricorn@feddit.nl 8 points 2 months ago

That's a good point. You may be attracted to men and enjoy having sex with them... but Fox News only says you're gay if you use a straw for a fast food drink.

Well, nothing is more suggestively manly than this:

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 12 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

A man with tiny hands has to throw his glass of water because he can't set it down gracefully. Fuck, it's already been four years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GO_BdivESOk

Edit: He's much more coherent in this clip than in anything today.

Who the fuck doesn’t drink a milkshake with a straw?

Are all these strawless non-gay heterosexual manly men walking around with milk mustaches like 5 year olds? Is this what women are into?

[–] pachrist@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

No, these strawless, non-gay, heterosexual, manly men are just like me. They were handed a spoon, but not a straw in the drive through and they decided to just drive off rather than bother or inconvenience someone, even though it wouldn't be a bother or inconvenience, it's the person's job, and they'd be happy to help. I am married though, so while I wouldn't say my wife is specifically attracted to that brand of social awkwardness, she's not entirely repulsed by it.

[–] BleatingZombie@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

I feel comfortable answering that last question!

No

[–] ouRKaoS@lemmy.today 8 points 2 months ago

Who the fuck doesn’t drink a milkshake with a straw?

Weird people.

They know they are full of shit. The know they are lying.

They are just evil cunts that spread hate and lies to manipulate people.

I've said it before. There are only 2 types of right wingers. They are either stupid or evil. Sometimes both. But it's always at least one of the 2.

[–] rayyy@lemmy.world 10 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

True, but I know people who are other categories. They have mental and/or social issues. The big social issue is tribalism - some go along to get along to survive in their social and work environments.

No, what it tells me is how little dirt you have to sling at Walz.

Whereas Trump is a twice-impeached felon with dozens of convictions and a judge had to remind people in court that he raped the defamation litigant. He also insults disabled people and veterans and lies with every breath. Oh, and he participated in a failed coup against the American People. Trump and Fox "News" should stop attacking their betters...

[–] BrokenGlepnir@lemmy.world 35 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I don't think women in general love trump. I think that's a difficult demo for him. Sure I can find a few at his events but the average woman really doesn't like him. Does that mean he's not masculine? They are just inventing little things to be on the surface of what is and isn't masculine. Walz has the only core masculine traits I can think of. He loves and takes care of his family. Everything else is superfluous window dressing. These guys only care about dressing though.

[–] Barbarian@sh.itjust.works 21 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

He does display more than those traditionally masculine traits. He portrays himself as a protector of the vulnerable and a provider. Making sure women and children are safe and provided for is very traditionally masculine. He has made it a point of his political career to help children, and as an ex-member of the national guard, he can claim that "protector" archetype.

This is not to say that there aren't problems with traditional masculinity, but there's more to it than just family.

[–] BrokenGlepnir@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

That's a good point. A family doesn't just have to be your flesh and blood though. It can be your community as well, but I know I wasn't thinking that even though I should have been. I don't see much of the leadership on the trump team expressing love to even their flesh and blood even if I do apply a strict definition of family.

You guys know that I like to play with AI, so I asked AI what to make of this news channel. The AI told me to delete this meme because it has to be fake because no news channel would ever have aired that chyron nor have said such a ridiculous statement on prime time television.

Guys, this is real. September 4, 2024. The bottom right image was added for relating to the topic.

[–] RageAgainstTheRich@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago

Even that Grok AI thing from Twitter calls out elon musk and other right wingers on their bullshit if you show it tweets. Its funny as fuck.

[–] cm0002@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago

AI: Ha ha, very funny feeding my AI generated stuff back to me, like any actual humon news channel would do this

No it's real

AI: I'm outta here, y'all humons fuckin' nuts

[–] Nastybutler@lemmy.world 29 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Jesse Waters is the biggest clown on a network full of them. Very impressive beclowning

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 10 points 2 months ago (1 children)

What are you talking about? He broke the story that voting for a woman turns a man into a woman! Trans people will be thrilled to learn about this shortcut to gender reassignment. He's a hero for trans rights.

Maga men don't use a straw, they suck vanilla shake off of an erect penis. In a closet. Because that's where most of them are.

women love masculinity

The number of things that he’s inadvertently implying with this that would cause him am aneurysm is just delightful

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 24 points 2 months ago (3 children)

We need to pass legislation that enforces standards around the use of the word "news." We could wipe out a number of media hacks just with that.

[–] ziggurat@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago

Fox news was brought to court over fake news. They lost and had to pay 6 months of revenue. But their argument in court was not that they didn't have fake news, but that they are an entertainment channel, not a news channel.

"Did you see the size of Walz's hands compared to the cup? They were so tiny, completely emasculating!

And his makeup, yeah he wears it, but they couldn't even match it to his skin tone, it was so orange... Hmmm, wait a minute?" 🤔🤣

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 2 months ago

If I were working at Fox News and shit like this was scheduled, I'd intercut the monologue with pictures of Trump doing exactly what they say is weird.

I'd want the talking head to eventually stop and say, "Wait...why are we showing pictures of Trump?"

[–] doggle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 20 points 2 months ago (5 children)

How the fuck else are you supposed to drink a shake? One scoop at a time with a spoon? Slurp it straight from the cup?

Or is ice cream just no acceptable for men altogether?

Why would we even listen to this Ross Gellar-looking ass about masculinity anyway?

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 16 points 2 months ago

When the milkshake thing got discussed on Seth Meyers, his team also found a picture of Trump and Bill O'Reilly drinking shakes with straws together at a Yankees game

Oh so the party of incels now knows exactly what straight chicks are into?

[–] badbrainstorm@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

He probably thinks straws look phallic, on account of him having a micro penis

[–] Got_Bent@lemmy.world 14 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Weren't they just throwing a collective temper tantrum about paper straws and how you could pry their plastic straws out of their cold dead lips?

[–] Etterra@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago (1 children)

They can call themselves a news channel all they want. Anybody with more than two brain cells to click together knows that they're just a propaganda arm of the Republicans. It's been that way since day one. Thanks Murdoch.

Trump drinks water from a glass with two hands like golem clutching the ring, what a weird beta cuck loser

[–] cheers_queers@lemm.ee 10 points 2 months ago

my partners father forced her to never drink from a straw because it was "too effeminate for his son." she's still trans 😂

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago

You flat-tongue that milkshake all slow and sexy like a proper harley-riding powerlifter.

[–] lurch@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 months ago

It's somehow magically different when he does it.

[–] TheFrirish@jlai.lu 7 points 2 months ago

The lines have never been this blurred between caricature and reality.
