That's a little reductive, but it's a very fun game to get high and just switch off for a few hours.

The difficulty options are very customisable now, so you can make the game challenge you if you want.

You're way more optimistic than me about the future of America.

Do you think there's also an element of the BBC being held to a much higher standard than other organisations, given that it's publicly funded?

How many pesos in ITV do we just not hear about?

That's the idea.

My understanding is that heat pumps are too slow for old Victorian houses for them to be more efficient than gas boilers (which are pretty fast comparatively). I'm glad your heat pump was viable though!

I got banned for reporting a post with the statement "links to nazi platform" (it was a link to X).

I got a message in my inbox about my account being given "a warning" for abusing the report system. I was then permanently banned an hour later.

I had like 5 accounts, one of them dating back to 2008. They are now all permanently suspended. Because I offended some loser moderator.

Or maybe they all got banned because I still used a third party Reddit client? Oh well. Fuck Reddit. I'll continue using my cracked third party Reddit client and browse Reddit in read-only mode. Lemmy can be where I actually contribute !

Wait, you mean those Jan 6ers aren't upstanding citizens? What a surprise...

The comments on this post over at that other site are quite insane...

The issue we have is that we have a large supply of housing stock built 80-120 years ago that cannot be efficiently insulated without it costing an obscene amount of money. A lot of these older houses also have no wall cavity, meaning wall insulation can't be done (without adding thick panels to the inside of every room, making each room smaller).

It's a tough situation, so I don't envy the government. Much like our roads, we are massively impeded by the fact that we're an old country and we tend to not want to knock things down and build from scratch.
