Maybe try to bait them with a question. Act like you haven't made up your mind.

"What's their policy on Israel?"

Arce brought falseremoved charges against him to keep him from running and then tried to kill him.

I'd say this is an appropriate response.

Arabic book owned by an Arabic person in an Arabic speaking country, they're totally going to write their name on it in the Latin alphabet.

The keyword is each. You still have DNA from many of them. Plus DNA based ancestry works with key genes. A male has his father's Y chromosome, who has his father's Y chromosome, who has his father's Y chromosome and so on. The same goes for mitochondrial DNA through the maternal line. There are mutations of course, but those actually allow you to paint an (imperfect) timeline and create groupings (haplogroups). Men from Europe have more similar Y chromosomes to each other than to men from elsewhere.

Obviously none of that justifies racial or ethnic oppression nor indicates any significant differences between peoples, but it does allow for those trivial (as in, interesting bits of information that aren't all too useful otherwise) but imperfect groupings.

I don't know how the exact percentages are determined and I'm sure there is something closer to race science bullshit in there, but it's mixed with actual science. It's pretty simple to see for example that my mitochondrial DNA aligns more with people from Iberia while my Y chromosome is much more like men from England. Thus I am half Portuguese half English(-descended American). But it means absolutely nothing other indicating who my parents are. That of course tells you nothing about my intellectual or physical abilities or any predispositions despite what fascists claim.

Our message to every great grandchild of anti-italian-action "legal immigrants" in this country: you're going back too.

Even though he voted for sanctions on official bad guy countries like Russia and Venezuela.

Unfortunately there's not really any logical way to automatically filter AI generated images that aren't tagged as such.

The best you could do is have another AI to detect AI generated images.

The problem I've found using udm=14 is it removes everything but traditional search results. No calculator, no weather widget, no map results, etc.

Holy shit I didn't know he was based.

Shown is a man, woman, girl family, but every 2 adult 1 child family now shows the same, with similar icons for the other numbers of each.

Actually it looks like Google still represents women and girls in the new ugly icons, but man and person (gender neutral) show up the same as do boy and child (gender neutral).

This is literally no steps forward, many steps back. Especially for Apple, wiping out both sexual orientation and gender representation. And Google conflating male and gender neutral is pretty bad too. I see no good reason for this change, not even a profit-motivated reason. I think it might have something to do with representing race. i.e. a silhouette is more race neutral than yellow. But they could just support mixed race families instead.

Microsoft on the other hand supports all the possible family combinations of both gender and skin tone, which Apple and Google never supported. Here's the built in Windows 11 tool to make a family. Each person's gender and skin tone can be changed.

Tangent: on the other hand, Microsoft refuses to support country flag emojis for some reason which is annoying.

It’s actually from a couple years ago but hilarious how apt it is.

If you can’t see itthe crossed out text is “no human is illegal”.

HOI4 is officially getting URSAL (clan.cloudflare.steamstatic.com)

They better include a reference to the bear. They already have Wojtek and the polar bear.

The Ukraine war was just a distraction all along. Russia has developed FTL travel and now has nukes stationed in Andromeda, waiting to strike the US.

The first 4 points (not in the screenshot, in the full thread) aren't horrible, depending on what calls of ableism they have in mind, but it's just way down hill from there.

Their bio:

Brunch lib. Basically a KHive/Bonds Dog amalgam. I stand with 🇺🇸🇮🇱🇺🇦🇬🇾🇹🇼🇦🇲

Just the worst collection of flags, except 🇬🇾 and 🇦🇲, but I'm guessing 🇬🇾 is just to follow the State Department line on their territorial dispute with Venezuela.

I so want this to be a parody, but they have a lot of threads about how horrible various 91° media pundits actually love Trump.

(Not that all their targets are undeserving, ♫Michael Tracey Crypto-Fascist♫ is definitely not.)
