Even using Tor, the site load-times seem a lot snappier. Exciting times.

I've never known the movies to not have ads before them and I was born in 1970. How old are you? lol
I barely get change out of $100 for two people and food in "Austrortia" . That's with one large popcorn, a choc-top and two large sodas. Needless to say I don't go very often.

Agreed. I was an early adopter of Mastodon but I found it so empty and strange. I figured I'd wait a couple of years. Much better now. Already like Lemmy over reddit. Not hard really.

I like it. It's not reddit and I like that about it most. I think it will stay and grow. I think we know what we don't want now and Lemmy could just be it.
