I would make a JRPG for a popular anime IP. I'm tired of the generic area battlers and would like an open world to explore (think Naruto storm story mode, but bigger and longer).

The Infamous series lets you get more powerful if you do bad deeds
The more money I put into my favorite gacha game the more powerful I become
Persona 3 and 4 after I played 5 and 5 royal.
Persona 3 is getting a remake to be more like 5 and I will get to it... eventually. Just have to set aside 80 hours or so per game.
So 30 seconds of ads for 10 minutes of playtime? That sounds like a good way to pad the length of the game as well as requiring an internet connection.
The fire emblem series and other tactical rpgs where your characters can permanently disappear if they die in battle.
What's wrong with it? You can't just make a blanket statement without explaining your reasoning for why it is "bad".
