Half Life going through the portal and the workers were just so docile.

Metroid Prime 2 or 3. Towards the end you get a super gun. It becomes your only weapon. You have it for a significant amount of time, and you use it to defeat the big bad.

Why did I get all those missiles and bombs and upgrade my gun?

The Caps Lock button on MacBooks knows if you really want to press it. in c/apple@hardware.watch

I use karabiner to make the caps lock another meta key like shift or Command. Pushing it makes the ijkl keys into up left down right. Plus more.
