Elon Musk reportedly bought a $35 million compound with enough room for his blended family — which includes three exes and at least 11 children — to live together with him in Austin, Texas.
Four people familiar with the Tesla founder’s plans told the New York Times Tuesday that Musk bought a 14,400-square-foot mansion designed to look like the lavish homes in Tuscany, Italy.
Directly behind the villa is a six-bedroom mansion he helped purchase, per sources and public records.
Musk has reportedly shared with people close to him that he wants two of his children’s mothers to live in “adjoining properties” to make it easier for him to “schedule time” among his youngest kids. He also wants the little ones to “be a part of one another’s lives.”
He was presumably speaking about his two most recent exes, Neuralink employee Shivon Zilis and singer Grimes, moving in, as that is with whom he shares younger children.
Musk and Zilis share 2-year-old twins, Strider and Azure, and a third child whose name is unknown but was reportedly born earlier this year.
Grimes, for her part, has a 4-year-old son, X AE A-XII, a 2-year-old daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, and 2-year-old son, Techno Mechanicus, with the billionaire businessman.
Musk has only adult children with his first wife, Justine Musk.
The former couple — who were married from 2000 to 2008 — share 20-year-old twins, Griffin and Vivian Musk, and 18-year-old triplet sons, Kai, Saxon and Damian. They also lost a baby, Nevada, from sudden infant death syndrome at just 10 weeks old in 2002.
Although it does not appear that Elon is prioritizing his children with Justine moving into the compound, a source told the New York Times that “there is room” for them should they decide to visit.
An insider pointed out, however, that the tech mogul is estranged from at least one of his older kids.
Elon has publicly fought with Vivian over her gender identity, claiming she has been “killed by the woke-mind virus.” He also claimed he was duped into approving gender reassignment surgery for her transition.
Vivian, meanwhile, slammed her famous father as a “serial adulterer” who is “not a family man” and “won’t stop f–king lying about [his] own children.”
Page Six has reached out to all of the mothers of Elon’s children for comment on the reported family compound, but did not immediately hear back.
The New York Times reports that Zilis, 38, has already “moved into one of the homes with her children.”
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, has “so far steered clear,” per the outlet, as she is embroiled in a custody battle with Elon over their three kids.
In October 2023, the PayPal co-founder quietly sued the Canadian songstress, 36, in Texas for the parental rights of X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl and Tau Techno Mechanicus.
He claimed in the filing that he had “actual care, control, and possession of each child since the birth of each child,” noting, more specifically, that the care has taken place in Texas, where he resides full time.
Grimes then sued Elon days later in California. The “Genesis” singer claimed in a filing that she and her three kids had moved to the West Coast “on or about” Dec. 31, 2022, and therefore the California court should have jurisdiction over their case.
A family law attorney exclusively told Page Six in November 2023 that she had “no doubt” that Elon filed his paperwork in Texas to try and score a better child support deal.
Stephanie I. Blum explained at the time, “Texas law places a cap on the amount of child support the higher earner has to pay regardless of their wealth.”
Elon, 53, is the richest man in the world, with a net worth of $268.8 billion as of Tuesday afternoon, according to Forbes.
