Why is this an Onion article? It is completely factual.

Proof:

“No one has been through what I’ve been through and I’ve been through a lot, trust me, more than you know,” said Trump, speaking with a heavy slur and sweating profusely. “They said I couldn’t be treated any worse, but I have, the worst ever, some say. These girls saying ‘ew’, they say ‘ew’ these days. Girls in my day, they didn’t say ‘ew’, they would say, ‘why do they call this plane the Lolita Express?’ And we’d say, ‘don’t worry about it, sweetheart.’ Never ‘ew’.’

“Like, he said it with his weird, little butthole mouth and he was all clammy and gross."
(emphasis mine)

🤣🤣

[–] rayyy@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago

Weird little butthole mouth.

[–] xpinchx@lemmy.world 45 points 2 months ago

Also, with Project 2025, Trump and his gross weirdos want to ban abortion, defund Planned Parenthood, and remove social security safety nets for our most vulnerable citizens. It is a flagrant abuse of power, an insult to the constitution, and it just made me think ‘how totally fucking gross, ew.’”

lmao

Stock photos were so much better than AI crap for cheap header pictures

[–] Evotech@lemmy.world 22 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Idk, is probably good that a real teenage girl isn't the face of random shit.

[–] howrar@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 months ago

Who's to say this isn't a real person? Generative AI has been known to sometimes spit out content that's nearly identical to a piece of its training data.

[–] MagicPterodactyl@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

What makes you say this image is AI generated? It just looks like a stock photo to me.

Those hands aren't possible, or at least I hope not.

This is the most obvious part, but also under the same girl's legs there's some phantom leg.

Then this dented head and odd hair and malformed ear.

The whole shot is just a very oddly framed mess of limbs and I bet the Trump overlay is hiding more gore.

[–] MagicPterodactyl@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The hand is just someone holding onto their wrist with a phone being held onto with their thumb. The "phantom leg" looks like it belongs to the girl behind them. The hair is just a sloppy hair cut. To me the fact that this picture looks imperfect and natural is why it doesn't feel like AI. Most AI images make everything smooth and ethereal and almost never chooses to have people facing away from the viewer.

[–] bdonvr@thelemmy.club -2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

What???? Did you look?

And no those can't be two different hands. There's no way the other hand's fingers bend around like that.

And also how on earth does the girl at least a few feet behind explain the leg?

???

And next to that there's a shoe that can't be accounted for.

I dunno to me it seems glaringly obvious.

I took the 5 seconds to do a reverse image search and found the stock photo series:

I know spotting AI isn't easy for everyone but I'm not sure what you think a bunch of red lines proved lol

[–] superkret@feddit.org 27 points 2 months ago (8 children)

I find it fascinating that AI, with all the major tech corporations backing it, still can't handle hands.

[–] addie 22 points 2 months ago

If there's one thing that we've learned from boiling the oceans and committing copyright infringement on an unimaginable scale, it's that a finger has an 80% chance of being followed by another finger.

[–] match@pawb.social 19 points 2 months ago

have you SEEN hands

[–] Evotech@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's much better, but it still fails a fair amount of time

The ones which dataset includes porn are much better because it has a larger dataset with human anatomy, but the mainstream services normally doesn't use those

[–] m4xie@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 months ago

That's interesting! I hadn't thought of that!

[–] brygphilomena@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Pretty sure that's a real stock photo.

Left hand is being held down from the right and she's holding the phone with just the thumb against the back of her left hand.

[–] MagicPterodactyl@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 months ago

Yeah the original picture also doesn't have that nasty look that every AI image has. These look like actual people.

[–] Suburbanl3g3nd@lemmings.world 0 points 2 months ago (1 children)

In the hand under the phone, which of those five fingers is the thumb? I don't think you can physically hold your hand in this way

[–] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

It's multiple hands in close proximity.

[–] RandomlyRight@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 months ago

Newer models totally can

[–] areyouevenreal@lemm.ee 6 points 2 months ago

I find it fascinating that with AI people call out even real photos as being fake

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 5 points 2 months ago

To be fair, even humans have trouble drawing hands. Easily the hardest part of the body. Of course, we don't usually add extra fingers....

[–] holycrap@lemm.ee 7 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I'm curious how she walks with those legs

[–] solomon42069@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

On all fours, arched backwards like a crab.

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Very carefully.
