Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Please do. Get them out of here.

Bonus points if they get sent to the Russian front lines and blown apart by US drones lmao. A deserving fate for a traitor

These Hucker/Tuckler memes just keep getting better and better

[–] Drunemeton@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Missed a real opportunity to build that swasitica-like image with dildos…

[–] grue@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Is that messed-up swastika behind him just an AI hallucination or do the extra pointy bits mean something?

[–] aubeynarf@lemmynsfw.com 6 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

guessing its supposed to represent the fasces. So a swastika composed of the symbol that named Fascism.

edit: looks like it’s from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_National_Unity

YES! yes. Do that. Okay MAGA people - on the bus! Let's go! Keep it movin' keep it movin! Next Stop! The Glorious Motherland! Just like you've always dreamed of! C'mon - you too Gingrich - get in there, you fuck! Ok bye!

They always did say "America, love it or leave it."

Well, they clearly don't love anything about America. Performative bullshit about forever wars, songs and bits of cloth do equal true patriotism.

[–] comador@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago

"Let's go ~~Brandon~~MAGA!"

[–] dragontamer@lemmy.world 22 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Hmmmm. We brain drain the smart people out of Russia and into USA. While they stupid-drain our dumbasses into Russia.

I see this as a win win. Let them go there

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

I'm okay with this.

[–] waxy@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 months ago

Brain drain for the intelligent ones, dumb plumb for the idiots

[–] realcaseyrollins@thelemmy.club 20 points 2 months ago (1 children)

They'd actually take it too 😂

It would be WILD if they continued their careers outside the States. But Tommy Robinson has effectively done the same.

[–] saltesc@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I imagine they'd be sent to Ukraine to be killed by an arsenal Made In USA.

[–] SassyRamen@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Well, the last of their type to try and make it in Russia didn't get too far.. it was a rough ending.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I thought some dipshit Canadian family went there for the white supremacy found it was a real shitshow there. Googles...oh yeah, the Arend and Anneesa Feenstra family ( they subjected their 8 children to this, unfortunately). Oh here is a set of American dinguses, too:

https://www.thetimes.com/world/russia-ukraine-war/article/the-american-families-moving-to-russia-to-flee-moral-decline-of-us-k9975x2nj

[–] SassyRamen@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

Shhh if we don't bring that up, MAGA miiiiight move to Moscow!

[–] realcaseyrollins@thelemmy.club 2 points 2 months ago

I feel like a big thing keeping the network members from fleeing is that they're being presumed innocence. I feel lime they're also the type of people to think getting arrested for this sort of thing is a badge of honor, so not all of them would be interested in fleeing anyways.

[–] Etterra@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Do it, take them all in Russia. We don't want them here.

[–] Raiderkev@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

No, because Russia will then give them a platform and put them on the direct payroll.

[–] Klear@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 months ago

So nothing changes on that front.

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I’d suggest they take trump but I’d rather see him sentenced and in jail here. Then again if he’s a pied piper type maybe he can drag a bunch of the MAGA talibangelicals with him.

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

It would serve a better public purpose to have him run away though. Hopefully finally break the idiotic brainwashing on some segment of his cult.

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 5 points 2 months ago

Yes please take as many MAGA people as possible.

[–] finley@lemm.ee 4 points 2 months ago

this is reminiscent of the Fox News begging Trump to pardon the Jan 6 traitors

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

I almost wondered if their media was trolling Putin there....

[–] Nuke_the_whales@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Russia will take them and send them to die in Ukraine

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 2 months ago

In a sane world, that they were duped into working for Russian disrupters would damage their brands and they'd lose their audiences. I have little expectation that that'll happen.

[–] bhamlin@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Why would Russia want our trouble makers? Lol.

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

They seriously still think they can glean some information. Russia's psychotic leaders have a one track mind.

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world -4 points 2 months ago

I'm so jealous...
