Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed. Sources that have a Low or Very Low factual reporting rating or MBFC Credibility Rating may be removed.

Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.

Not to banalize ukraine civilians casualities and Putin crimes but firstly no Russian officials used genocidal statements and secondly gaza casuality in 3 months is more than the double of ukraine casualities in almost 2 years.

Russian officials have frequently stated things like Ukrainian does not exist, it’s a fake ethnicity, and that they’re all Russian. They’ve spoken about how they wish to destroy this non-existent culture as well.
Secondly, they are literally committing genocide and the ICC has a warrant out on Putin for genocide.

Where he's off base is that there are 11,000 missing in Ukraine as well. It's a much, much bigger territory, we won't know the full accounting in Ukraine, if we ever will.
As to Russia and genocide, saying a culture doesn't exist and they're "really" Russian is totally different from Israel's attitude to Palestinians.

I'm not sure what the topic is, but there are also a ton of missing (usually buried under rubble) people in Gaza.

If you looked at the modlog you'd see that while the comments were removed, nobody was banned.
Rule 6 states: "No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning"

Where can the correct rules be viewed? If I look at the rules for this community, the numbers don't line up. And searching for lemmy.world rules doesn't give any useful results.
The rules for each community can be viewed on the Sidebar. How you get there varies depending on how you're... Lemmying? Verbing weirds language.
From the web interface, in each community, there should be a button for "sidebar".

(I was jokingly accusing you of violating rule 6 because the removed comment could maybe be said to violate that one. It's a bit of a stretch but at least plausible.)

It's cool, it's late for me and now I have no idea which comment we're talking about. Not one of yours, that's clear, you had one removed 4 months ago for calling someone a "giant asshole" and... yeah, that's removal worthy.
That's actually my contribution to the rule set, and I'm kind of proud of it. :) We aren't shy about strong language, you can totally say the subject of an article is a giant asshole, just don't target it at other users.
That was a problem when Kissinger died... yeah, yeah, no celebrating death, OTOH - Kissinger. We would have had to have banned 1/2 the community. LOL.

I like your strong language rule. But rule 6 is such a vague catch-all that it basically says "the mods will remove anything they don't like, at any time, with no warning"

The "low effort posting" thing? You're probably right on that. Most of the examples of low effort posting I can think of would be covered under one of the other rules.
One I had to remove yesterday after it got like 14 reports was just a screenshot of a shitty news source, so, yeah, not an article, questionable source, also a low effort post but that was the LEAST of the reasons it was removed.
But it's not a matter of "mods can remove anything", that's what got one of our other mods in trouble. Someone had a comment removed, messaged me going "hey, why was my comment removed?" and my investigation found what seemed like abuse.
I brought in the site Admins going "Hey, this seems above my $0 paygrade." and they took care of it.
Found the zionist.
