I’ve only learned the name “Scunthorpe” recently because I was reading up on a band I really like from there. I remember noting that it was about the ugliest name for a town I could think of that doesn’t actually contain any recognizable words… but I would assume it’s a perfectly lovely place regardless of that
I take it you’ve not heard of the Scunthorpe problem?
Actually I haven’t, fascinating! Somehow I didn’t even notice that word in there, I was just thinking about how it sounded like ‘scum’ lol
