Sadly, it only works if you're selling hate and fear.

I hate AI as much as anyone, but this article is shitty fearmongering. Buried at the end it admits there's actually no price increase, there's just a new tier with optional features.
A “classic” Office 365 subscription will be available at the old price if you really don’t want the AI — for now.
People make their party affiliation a big part of their identity. It's hard for anything not already established to compete with that.
I'll use it for now while it's good and ditch it if/when it enshittifies just as I ditched Reddit and Twitter. The mistake I won't repeat is relying on it. If I have to bail, it won't be difficult this time.
I think they're implying that it can be rude to broadcast someone's age, since some people like to be private about it.
The passive and undiscerning types (the majority) stayed on reddit and the more ambitious and deliberate types came here. But where would users for this specific format come from if not largely reddit?

I'm attracted to femininity, first and foremost. Femininity is a requirement, and it's not flexible. But then there are other more flexible preferences about specific appearance or personality details I might like in a woman.
I'm fundamentally attracted to women and turned off by men. It's the simplest way to describe my sexual orientation. The fact that I'm not attracted to all women doesn't change that.
Dead. The absolute body horror of turning into a bag of groceries.
You may be misunderstanding something about bluesky. (Or maybe not.) When a username has a domain other than bsky.social they're not on another instance like how that works on Lemmy. It's just a custom username and the Bluesky service has the same amount of load either way.
As for censorship, you can have a bsky.social username and still customize your moderation yourself. But Bluesky will still centrally do some necessary moderation to keep stuff like child porn off the service.
