What's a game that you loved until a twist (in story or gameplay) ruined it for you? in c/gaming@level-up.zone

I'm going to get a ton of flack for this. But I was enjoying What Remains of Edith Finch until I reached the ending and just kinda sat there thinking "That's it?". I'm used to extremely vague endings that you search for the meaning for online but this games ending literally meant nothing, nothing happened, zip, nada.

And before people say "You didn't like it cuz you don't like walking sims, go play fortnite or cod". The Stanley Parable is easily one of my favourite games ever and it had less gameplay than WROEF.

You have one week to prepare for a fight against the main character of the last game you played. What would you do and what are your chances of winning? in c/gaming@level-up.zone

Just beat Dark Souls TODAY. With every boss DEAD. It literally wouldn't just be me dead but the whole damn planet.
