Hypocrisy. I wish we as a society called it out when we saw it, practiced fighting it in ourselves and others, and regarded it with shame. Instead it's turning into another acceptable character quality.
One of my clients steals groceries and exhibits oppositional defiant disorder; he hates authority figures. When we talk about this he brings up the economic reasons for shoplifting but seems more motivated by causing pain to the organizations (or industry as a whole) which set the prices for groceries. Honestly some of his arguments are convincing. This kind of theft rarely hurts individuals working at grocery stores. It's more costly to the people at the top of this food chain, the ones responsible for inflated prices.
Sometimes the elites poke fun at us with obviously untrue, absurd statements. It's the equivalent of grabbing someone's fist, pushing it in their face, and saying "stop punching yourself".
I see you play League of Legends
Will you PLEASE think of the shareholders?
They've abstracted away the social element. It takes so much work now to make a friend. After a game ends there's perhaps a summary screen or lobby, so you can add another player to your friends list, but you have no way of discussing that with them. Anytime I get a friend request, I think, who is this? Why are they friending me
Ohhhh Thank you
There's no regulatory body preventing launchers from popping up like broadband expansion being blocked by government lobbying like traditional monopolies
Sorry I can't figure out this sentence. What did you mean by launchers here
