Hey the NYPD created that discipline matrix in response to it to hold cops accountable. Why yes it is in the news recently because that corrupt police chief just weakened it, why yes he has already weakened it before and yes Garcetti had whined about how unfair it was and weakened it already before that, and yes both of them are alleged to have ignored it and let cops get away with things on the matrix.

Oh Hrm forget I said anything

That company is owned by Palmer Luckey, the guy who made the oculus rift and ran nimble America in 2016. Every time you think you’ve heard the last of some awful grifter they show up again somewhere worse.

America is so fucking weak. All they’ve got is arm a proxy, wage trade war and fund increasingly ineffective propaganda. You can’t meme your way into revitalized productive forces.

It’s a game where you get dropped into a little toy solar system where each planet and celestial body has its own secrets and rules that govern how you interact with it. You progress by learning these things and piecing together a story that kind of makes you feel how small and powerless but still beautiful our time here is.

I’ve been a fan of that clip for a few years. So today I was looking for it and found out the entire stage play is on YouTube as well, with video. Finishing it up now. It rocks.

401k’s and such do function to mentally invest you in capitalism. My 45+ year old coworkers are obsessed with the stock market as their retirement accounts swing wildly by 80k from time to time and get mad at whatever they perceive as the cause. Occasionally it’s Musk or Bezos but equally as often it’s unions or any tiny bit of government spending that might actually do a sliver of good. It’s sad to watch.

Intimidating your geopolitical opponent with awkward AI generated images of soldiers. Allow me to inarticulately mumble about Guy Debord.

And then us old account havers get cancelled for having lawns! And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Dandelions 4 life! Unlimited weeds on the suburban world!

One of the financiers borrowed money against the studio to buy more of the studio in order to do a hostile takeover and pushed the original creatives out. There’s stuff about kurvitz being a toxic boss but the source is the business guy taking over the company and the rest of the core team don’t seem to be backing up the claim about kurvitz.

Owner threatens to take the teams somewhere he can get free money to ruin a historic part of a different city

The Americas Test kitchen site is broken so I watched a YouTube video and copied their recipe for butternut squash steak with vegan ranch dressing don’t judge me I’m American, okay you can judge me.

It didn’t look as good as their pictures but it rocked l. It was soo good. Flavorful, incredible texture, tender but still firm enough to feel substantial.

Heres the link I couldn’t get to work: https://www.americastestkitchen.com/recipes/12190-vegan-chile-rubbed-butternut-squash-steaks-with-ranch-dressing
