Your child can’t be both 16 and below. It’s understandable but wrong. If they’d written it in the form “All children 16 and below …” it would have been ok.

But still, how do you answer it for a 17-year-old?

This is not a scientific result, but when I’ve seen friends / family with modern-looking android devices, the UI seems laggy or unresponsive compared to my experience on iOS. They often have to try 2 or 3 times to get the swipe / tap they were after. I find iOS pretty much always does what I’m expecting, and even when it doesn’t, I can put it down to me missing the edge of the screen / icon.

I’m curious what ‘features’ I’m missing by sticking with iOS though?

They're cross-eyed, and there's a great little nonsense squiggle above them.

I think it says “NETFLIX”

NOTE: Netflix is a popular internet video streaming service

Same here—never had a problem with it. Guess it might depend where you are…

Also married to Karen Barclay, Head of Major Infrastructure Planning & Stakeholder Engagement at Anglian Water, one of the organisations being investigated for illegal dumping of sewage.

But nothing to see here. Move along.

You’re welcome?

I appreciate your use of the, often abused, parenthetical comma.

It’s in the article:

This swapping is powered by an OpenType feature called “contextual alternates,” which is widely supported by both operating systems and browser engines.

It’s very interesting but the article is a rehash of some 2-year-old work by others, and doesn’t really update anything, apart from saying that “apparently, Apple addressed this problem.” with no further clarification. Pretty low effort tbh.

Light vs dark adapted. In bright light, the best wavelength is longer.

From that source:

At threshold sensitivity, the human eye can detect the presence of about 100-150 photons of blue-green light (500 nanometers) entering the pupil.

So I guess either blue or green leds are good for this application, and green much cheaper…

What’s the difference between a duck?

One of its legs are both the same.
