Her appearance on The Breakfast Club was pretty brave and she handled all of their bullshit really well. There was like a Kamala surrogate on their who kept doing the "get real...you need to listen to the adults in the room...how are you going to pass legislation" bullshit

You're exactly right. This is outlined in "The S Word" by John Nichols. He was pressured by ardent socialists/communists and actually LISTENED to that pressure. Leading to setting up some of the most important safety nets in US history.

Imagine if socialists/communists ACTUALLY had a chance to take the reins and go further

im sorry, what kind of test would this be?

Ya seriously what the fuck happened. How do you write two tomes about the two worst presidencies in history then turn around and make fun of Palestinian solidarity protestors for being ineffective (which he'd done prodigiously)

when talking about energy, kamala made no mention at all of renewables or clean energy (because of course not) and ALL of the focus was around reducing our dependence on foreign oil amerikkkkkkaa

I don't follow them and don't know if there has been any self-reflection since 2020. But if there hasn't I would have thought they'd been so embarrassed by now they'd have logged off

Want to learn more about what has worked elsewhere in helping to organize for this community. There are so many non-profits/NGO's devoted to assisting our unhoused neighbors but so many of them seem largely uneffective/toothless (for many reasons).

Looking to see if there are any good reads out there about lifting up this community. thanks!

Wanted to get a thread together to highlight aid groups that can be donated to to help Palestinian aid

~~That's the only one I know of but leaning on y'all for help to spread the word. Lots of medical aid needed so let's direct our energy toward those helping in Gaza~~

Keep em coming and I'll try to continue to add them here
