She ships Lightning/Fang instead of Vanille/Fang so she doesn't have my vote.

So the emotional resonance I felt when I asked ChatGPT to write me a song about my experiences still loving the parent that abused me was what to you?

Like the results were objectively artless glurge of course but I needed that in that moment.

Falcon is a boring ass character, his actor is straight up Not Good

I don't agree with either of these things but I wish your happiness.

I do agree that the villians in his series were more interesting though. Well, at least John Walker was.

the emotional climax is reversed

Maybe its because I'm a longtime comics fan but I dont get how this is true at all. Its not like theyre even explicitly bringing back Tony Stark. Its just the actor playing a different character (who MAY end up being an alternate universe version of Tony Stark MAYBE, but if they do that thats still not the same character. In thej same way that Reed Richards and The Maker (this is a comics thing) arent the same character).

Well then how good can it be?

[–] autismdragon@hexbear.net 3 points 5 months ago

No youre very right, I'll try to watch that thank you.

[–] autismdragon@hexbear.net 4 points 5 months ago

I can see what you mean by that comparison.

To be fair to our autistic women and enby comrades, Its pretty much always been autistic men, but still.

You have no idea how many times I've been like "hey dont say that, thats ableism/a slur" and them be like "get over it/grow a spine/just words" and when I confront them about the fact that i'm autistic they'll say "I am too, so what?".

Just look at my post history right now. There's one I'm arguing with right now.

it happens over and over.

Oddly the op doesnt mention anything about Russia or China but the comments do.

Also the contents of the link to "General trolling" are fucking hilarious. Those poor Canadian feelings :(((((

I kind of agree with our admins that we should have not been using PPB in other instances, but its funny that they mentioned it TWICE.

I'm not a libtheo, I'm agnostic, but I do have some christian roots and find some of the things attributed to Jesus to be good advice, and this quote I think is the best of all. Its good advice for just like... life in general. But I also wanted to comment on its relevance to our disagreements with liberals on geopolitics.

When we bring up the problems in the west, we're accused of Whataboutism, but what we're trying to do is remind these people that you have problems on your home turf, focus on that before worrying about problems you dont even have much power to influence at all. Unless you're literally Russian, and I haven't run into anyone in the Fediverse who is, don't worry about Russia's problems. Worry about whatever the problems in your home country are. Worry about the things your country are doing, both domestically and overseas. If you are American, worry about America's domestic problems and America's foreign policy problems. I think this is ESPECIALLY important for the propaganda issue. I have no idea why these liberals are more afraid of Russian or Chinese influence than they are against the propaganda coming from the places that they live in. The government that actually has power over their lives.

To be clear, I'm not against Socialist internationalism, I think its good. But I think focusing on the home turf is the right thing to take.

I realize this is kind of a slapdash post and not perfect. I'm sure holes could be poked in it even from people on my side. But I think in a general sense its good advice and central to what our disagreements with liberals on geopolitics are.

Lets fucking goooooooooo

Btw there's a TON of sanctimonious lib accounts saying similar shit about uwu wholesome Biden reaching out to Mitch to ask if he's ok, Teidrich was just the most overtly stupid. And yes I know he's low hanging fruit.

To be clear I'm seeing TONS of libs on the threads for this on reddit gladly celebrate the idea of Mitch possibly dying so he's not even right lol. I didnt look at the replies much but there's a few "you dont speak for me"s in there too.
