Cannot find anything regarding this for the Dem senator and governor running in my deep red state so I’m gonna have to vote for them regardless just based on abortion :( not that they’ll win anyways.

Writing in PSL for President at least o7

Determining which candidates to vote for in my state/county/city’s local elections by going to each candidates twitter and searching “Israel”

Nvm I found it, just look up the NBC interview she did with Hallie Jackson. Jackson asked her if she supports gender affirming care for transgender people, and her response was “I think we should follow the law” and “I’m not a doctor” lmao

Wdym? Harris said she’d “proudly sign it into law” if congress passed a law protecting abortion, as you can see democrats are clearly fighting tooth and nail for women’s reproductive rights!

[–] Yeat@hexbear.net 21 points 2 weeks ago

Not to mention, Biden presided over the overturning of Roe v Wade and did absolutely nothing about it. The only thing Harris said she’d do about it is “sign a law if congress passes one” oh boy!

It’s also very funny (not actually) because what is Harris going to do for LGBTQ people? Not that her or any Democrat’s symbolic rhetoric mean anything but have the words “transgender” even come out of her mouth this campaign?

i’m about to start a 5-7 page research paper for my world history class about any significant historical events, people, ideological movements, etc., that take place anywhere between 1500-now and i’m not 100% sure about what to write. i was kinda interested in maybe writing about the french revolution but i’m sure there’s better stuff out there, i was also considering writing about marxism/class struggle or the russian revolution but idk if it’s a good idea to go full blown tankie LMAO but i might change my mind idk

so yeah just wondering if anyone can think of any fun topics to research and write about for my paper, any personal favorite pieces of history in that time frame, etc?

edit: i don’t have the time to respond to every comment but all these suggestions are amazing i’m definitely going to use one of these, thank you everyone!

i just love it’s dark and almost mythic nautical, maritime vibes and i just can’t find anything else that even resembles that

so if anyone knows of any movies (or any other media) that resemble that please drop them in the comments
