Charging real world money for cosmetics that have literally no effect in-game, and I'm not talking just about multiplayer, since pay to win is bullshit, but I mean in single player games, cosmetics should be earned through you playing the game.

PS5 has and will have the better exclusive games.
I disagree completely, games can be far better at storytelling since their story doesn't have to be squeezed into 1 and a half to 3 hours, and being the player yourself you're far more engaged with the plot.
It's got fuck all to do with hype, people want a game that fucking WORKS.
It's not that we don't care, it's that we doubt it's gonna be out anytime soon so why bother.
I just played Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, so I'm going against a guy who has a gun that can ATOMIZE someone, I'm fucked.
The RE4 Remake has some really nice and fluid animations.
Got nothing to do with aging, it's just hard to trust most gaming companies right now that will launch games that are blatantly unfinished, just because they can fix it later. A minor bug is one thing, but just look at things like Cyberpunk or ME: Andromeda.
It's really saying something that Capcom of all companies are one of the few that sends out games that actually work day 1, just look at Resident Evil 4 Remake, they faced a hell of a challenge to not disappoint fans who would be going out of their way to find problems just to prove that a remake of RE4 wasn't necessary, yet not only did they perform adequately, they knocked it out of the fucking park, the Remake was fucking amazing, I must've spent weeks playing it over and over, even when I'd already got the platinum trophy.
