Could have sworn I read that only one mod wanted to go dark, and that particular mod was inactive for over a year. The other moderators did not want to participate in the blackout. Not really a cut and dry situation in this context.
Holy blast from the past. I adored my Pebble Time Steel. When the battery wore I out I switched to a Fitbit Versa but it just wasn't the same. Sold it and went back to "dumb" watches. The Pebble really was something special.
For buying and selling things I will still use Reddit subs due to their size (PC hardware, watches, EDC items, etc). For general discussion, I'm heading back to specific forums and will definitely give Lemmy a go.
