Turns out pissing off a bunch of Arabs (among many) by supporting genocide is not so profitable after all.

Do Atlantic ocean next

This only works if everybody follows that rule.

In real life, some of this shit gain critical mass, and afterward, ignoring it would give it even more platform by leaving it uncontested.

Hey, KDE's been keeping things more lightweight since version 5!

I think it's a bit hit and miss. While most part it's just "meh", there are some parts that are actually better.

  • A good example would be Wretched Weaponry on the Junk Heap front; amazingly fitting with Gideon's descend to madness (I'd keep the default soundtrack on the rest of Junk Heap tho...).
  • I also love the use of Dependent Weaklings as Shadowlord's soundtrack.

With that said, I have more examples of what irks me.

  • Most notably, The Weight of The World should stay in Nier Automata; Ashes of Dreams carries more nuance for Nier Replicant.
  • I hate that they changed the waltz music to Amusement Park because it sounds nothing like waltz!
  • Town soundtracks:
    • Pascal for Facade, nope!
    • Fortress of Lies for Forest of Myth, nope!
    • Copied City for Airie, nope!
    • Voice of No Return for Seafront: hell no!
  • Field soundtracks:
    • Alien Manifestation for Barren Temple, nope!
    • City Ruin for plains: okay
    • Memories of Sand for Desert: completely expected
    • Amusement Park for Emil's Manor: so-so, decreases creepiness

Maybe I love Nier Replicant soundtrack too much. Nier Automata soundtrack is definitely great, but I do feel like Nier Replicant soundtrack has more depth in general.

Edit:

Almost forgot, can't have it without Kaine's themes, Deep Crimson Foe, and Song of the Ancient

Blissful Death for the Shades' flashbacks and Forest Kingdom for Forbidden Temple is actually better than the default. Also, The Tower for the Shadowlord's Castle is strangely fitting.

Edit #2:

I just went thru the game once more. The spundtrack for Sacrifice bossfight was great. Also, I really love the sequence of soundtrack for the Louise bossfight, except for the Vague Hope part.

After the most recent update, the view always return to the top of local homepage.

This is very disruptive, since some users would press home when they want to use another app, and would tap the icon on the homepage to go resume what they were doing.

I actually tried to write this post earlier, but something came up that requires me to context switch. When I was done with that, I tapped Jerboa icon on my homepage (muscle memory). To my surprise, the post I was writing disappeared, replaced by the local homepage. I don't even browse local that often...

Anyone here successfully seen anything other than 00 on their mPCIe POST card? I have tried it on different Thinkpads with different versions of libreboot & coreboot and yet it never display anything useful, even when system successfully boots.

Just read that lemmy.ml just did. What's our status on this?

You're gonna need it after holding that baked beans for three days
