I keep waiting for someone like HBO or Apple to pick this up as a series, because I think it's got great potential to make a stellar show. Especially with how I picture the visuals.

Though part of me also hopes they don't, so I can continue to enjoy it without them inevitably doing a bad job...

There's a quote in a book I like along those lines, that goes: "First of all, we are all time travellers. The vast majority of us manage only one day per day."

I've always really liked that

The planet where they first find the Harcesis baby, with the monk and Oma Desala

They definitely kept it in rotation, as I remember SG-2 was with them on Kheb

Moya's starburst has always been one of my absolute favourite VFX scenes.

It's just such a visually great kind of hyperdrive!

Damn, I knew I should have gone when I had the chance!

So with NCC leaving the County Hall, what are some of your dream wish lists for what could be done with the site?

It's obviously a huge building, and also has a massive car park, so there's really some great potential there.

Whatever happens, I really hope we get some sort of leisure out of it, we really need more riverside entertainment options.

Cured down near the train station is pretty neat, we don't have many waterside cafes/bars/restaurants etc. (aside from the Canal House etc.), so it's nice to have somewhere to sit on the waterfront and chill out with a nice bite and a drink.

Other than that, I'm really struggling to think of places that are 'novel/unique' etc... We need more funky places.

Since the great reddit exodus, I've been struggling to get my non-Nottingham Post/World based updates about our fair city, so I thought I'd create the community to get the ball rolling here in the fediverse!

Hopefully others join soon, and we can really start shifting some info about Notts!
