Anyone have recommendations for someplace unique to head to?

Places like:

Lost Property Mollis The Tap Room

Any suggestions welcome!

Binks Yard further down the canal towards London Road has a cracking outside area - I’ve heard good food.

They have gigs on there? I remember seeing a stage out back and a giant smoker too. Not seen either being used though.

Yea! They do quite a bit down there. Vicky McLure did a big event down there recently. There was something else on recently which I was surprised to hear was happening there too, but I can’t for the life of me remember we what it was. Worth checking out.

Cured down near the train station is pretty neat, we don't have many waterside cafes/bars/restaurants etc. (aside from the Canal House etc.), so it's nice to have somewhere to sit on the waterfront and chill out with a nice bite and a drink.

Other than that, I'm really struggling to think of places that are 'novel/unique' etc... We need more funky places.

Oh, Cured is a good shout. I had the pizza at tap room last night and that was amazing for £7!

Coco Tang and Yochoko are good options if you fancy something slightly more oriental.

Yokocho is great for a cheeky Yuzu Sake. Have you eaten at Kushi-ya at all? That's great too!

Yes, love their tiny plates - best salmon & wasabi I've ever had. If you like Kushi-ya, you may want to give Nan Tei a chance - it's great!

Not come across Nan Tei yet, I'll check it out thanks!
