England? Probably right now tbh, 2018-Present. The prem is the richest league and most successful in Europe over the last 5 seasons. The national team has been pretty good. The talent pipeline has been fantastic and the future looks bright. England have a solid chance at winning this upcoming euros in 6 months time. England just rose to 3rd in the fifa rankings and you didn't see people complaining, big sign of how far the team has come right there. End of the day, I'm living in the good old days right now so I might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Rooney 47th all time is probably generous tbh.

Man for man, England had a more stacked starting XI in the 2000s than now. They had world class players in every position in those days. This England team performs better and is also pretty stacked but not quite world class in every position yet. Like another person said, the 2000s England team mostly peaked around kind of the same time (2004-06) but this one has more of a mix of veterans and youngsters so they should be decent for longer.

Haha, that's pretty funny. You just can't beat the biggest club in the world I guess.

Then we get more blatant fouls and offside calls being missed. Who'd want to go back to that world?
