A group of a hundred soldiers from the Russian Wagner group have moved closer to the Belarusian city of Grodno near the Polish border, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Saturday.

Poland, a former Warsaw Pact member which has been a full member of the U.S.-led NATO military alliance since 1999, has been concerned about the possible spillover of war on to its territory ever since Russian invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

Yeah, I'm sure 100 guys will launch a full scale "special military operation" on a NATO country.

Distraction. Why? We don't know.

I don't think Wagner are stupid enough to start shit on Polish soil. Wouldn't that be forcing Joe Biden's hand to drag NATO into the conflict?

It’d be fast and decisive. Remember what happened the last time Wagner fucked with a NATO force — https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Khasham

I don't think they would need NATO's help.

What will happen if Wagner is trying to destabilise things near the Poland-Belarus border or do activities that normally would been seen as an act of war?

Would NATO see this as an attack from Russia and/or Belarus or would they say it's a private army/terrorist group that is not connected to a country and let Poland handle it?

Stationed Polish soldiers would probably just wipe them in under 2 hours then move on.

Don't think polish would need a declaration of article 5 before anihilating the orcs. They desired ruzzian blood for decades
