Oh yeah, the ground under the window looks weird.

Not just the ground. If you look carefully, you can see the distortion on the wall, the entire lower window pane, and very slightly in the center of the upper pen where the head is.

Not sure where this particular house is located but in places like Spain and South America it's pretty common for houses to have tiled floors all over.
