My only question is: Why? History is already not kind to Kissinger and he will be remembered as an architect of bloody wars. He's also not in any office of the US, so he's as legitimate as Dennis Rodman is for diplomatic negotiations.

It is a good question. I know that Bill Clinton did some goodwill diplomatic stuff under Obama.

Kissinger is really only known for being some sorta criminal mastermind. He never scored high on charisma.

To say I dislike Henry Kissinger is to vastly understate my opinion of him.

How is that ghoul still alive? If you consider a pact with the devil, that might explain a few things...

[–] skepticalifornia@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That was my first thought - Is he still alive? He must be 110 by now.

Well he probably did send a lot of customers Satan's way.

Hitch is dead, yet this piece of shit still lives. That alone shows there's no God!

Look on the bright side. Pat Robertson is still dead!

Dear China,

You can keep him.

When will this fucking goon die already. Fuuuuuuuck.

[–] _haha_oh_wow_@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Well that's a shame, I was hoping he'd kicked the bucket by now.

[–] afraid_of_zombies@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Even Satan doesn't want him.

[–] _haha_oh_wow_@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

Can't say I blame him.

He's 100 years old. What on earth is he doing? There's no way this meeting is going to be helpful.

If Russia or North Korea wanted to improve their world image, a well timed, "errant" surface to air missle could go a long way here.

[–] dan1101@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm extremely surprised he is still alive. 100 years old, damn.

[–] Restaldt@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

Not even hell wants him

[–] mykl@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

He must be another new Lemmy user dusting off his old memes.
