Any elder scrolls or fallout 3+ game. You’d set a destination but then get sidetracked by everything that pops up on your compass.
Animal Crossing, Guardian Legend, Mario 2, Mario 3, Mario World, Super Metroid, La Mulana (except for the bosses).
Post-story (pre-final mission) Cyberpunk 2077. Hop on Jackie's tuned Arch and drive to the top left of the map. Then drive all the way to the bottom.
Thronefall maybe?
Used to be, I'd get lost in a Skate game. Roll around looking for new spots and new ways to hit the old ones. Just zen out with the improvisation or get particular with my own steeze.
Osu
Red dead redemption 2. Just slowly trotting along admiring the views and visuals is always a nice breath of fresh air.
A short hike.
Slime Rancher
Sonic 2, Sims, Minecraft, RDR2, Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed
Stalker Call of Pripyat after the main quest.
Deep Rock Galagtic on a low hazard with noobs.
Shipbreaker for me lately. Just floating out in space, scrappin' ships.
With how slow-paced vanilla WoW is, it has to be that. Just go log in, run around smacking boars for a bit, log out. Clears the mind.
Probably just driving some music on and blasting some maps.
rdr2 fishing in the river or Skyrim
House Flipper, Driving around in GTA while listening to music from initial D
BeamNG.drive
I'm gonna go crash some cars into stuff
GTA V. I'd just put on a podcast or something and cruise around.
Then, things escalate because police, aka 'quote, Rockstar: No, the cops do NOT automatically know where you are' - chase you endlessly for shit you didn't even do. Then I turn the game off
???
dead space (I'm serious)

No Man’s Sky, just walking around a planet scanning and collecting stuff
Elden Ring , I just go on my level 200 character , and wonder around in the lands between and maybe do a mini dungeon I missed .
Journey
World of Warcraft
Gathering resources in most survival games. It's mindless, like walking. You just mine some stone while listening to music or talking to a friend or something.
Tetris Effect
Stardew Valley. Except it then turns into a 50 hour walk I can’t stop.
Titanfall 2 campaign
Puzzle quest 3
Hell Let Loose.
A stressful walk, but a walk for sure.
Earth Defense Force 5. Need to go kill some ants I mean alien monsters.

Murdering sprees with cheats on in either GTA or Red Dead
Vr boxing. Otherwise I’m just sitting around getting fat. Going for a walk is a form of exercise and ver boxing does give a decent workout
Halo. But i can make it a marathon sometimes
Gotta be Death Stranding. I remember a day when I got pulled into a long session, and became strangely motivated to go for a walk in the rain. Grabbed a jacket, went for a long walk, and came back to warm up and keep playing. Very cathartic.
Floating around in Raft is so calming and peaceful.
Ratchet & Clank series
Jak & Daxter series
Sly Cooper series
Beamng. I recreated in automation my old car that I had to leave behind and I use it to cruise around the Italian map.
