Firewatch. I’ll say it a million times to every one I ever can. Amazing game
Horizon: Zero Dawn. The story is just a masterpiece. It's the only game I've ever played where I WANTED to collect, listen, and read all of the small lore pieces. The combat is incredible and the enemies are so diverse, unlike your typical recycled RPG enemies. I want to say so much more about this, I'm struggling not to give any information here. It's a game that you need to go in completely blind. With no expectations, you'll have an amazing time. Hell, even with high expectations, you won't leave disappointed. This is a game that was so good, Sony started developing two sequels before the first one was released.
TUNIC
One of the most fun and fulfilling games to figure out on my own
The Persona series. I just started playing 4 and I went in blind, then fell in love with the game.
Hollow Knight!
The Stanley Parable (Ultra Deluxe): the game experience is better if you try to just wing it and experiment as you go along.
Hypnospace Outlaw: 95% of the content of this game is optional and a lot of it is buried in some pretty deep rabbit holes. Despite that, it's still more fun going in blind, wandering around, and get lost in the game, without any prior planning on getting a specific secret. Even if you're thorough, you'll probably only experience less than 50% of all the content in your first playthrough.
Outer wilds
Doki Doki Literature Club
Very well known game, but Undertale.
Subnautica
I agree but I had to restart my first five games because I kept starving to death when I ran out of food packets.
SOMA.
Undertale, although it's pretty hard to avoid spoilers at this point.
Doki Doki Literature Club.
Spec Ops: The Line. (although to be fair, unless you know it's NOT just a generic shooter, you might give it a pass)
Outer Wilds
SOMA
Return of the Obra Dinn
Disco Elysium, The less you know the better and funnier it is.
Omori
Bloodborne
Any “Choose Your Own Adventure” type game.
Mass Effect, TellTale games, Baldur’s Gate, etc.
Horizon Zero Dawn
Games like phasmaphobia or lethal company. The moment those games stop being chaotic and start becoming methodical they immediately lose all the charm they had for me.
Danganronpa games, Zero Escape games, Raim Code
Doki Doki Literature Club
Ghost Trick
Phoenix Wright (edit: as many people have said, yes sometimes you'll need to look up a guide, but it is VERY easy to get spoiled so be careful looking up a specific character or for youtubers who spoil the case)
The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories
Ib, Omori, Yume Nikki (all 3 of these games are kind of the same vein but still recommended)
YOU and ME and HER: A Love Story (I havent actually played this one but its interesting and Its hard to bring up without spoiling it)
Spark the Electric Jester (at least 2 and 3 if you just want a wtf reaction to the endings)
Witcher 3, Mass Effect trilogy
BioShock
Factorio
Divinity: Original Sin 2

Control, I had no idea of anything about it other than it was free on PS+ the atmosphere is gripping from the first second and then it just keeps getting better.
Totally agree. Nothing made sense. Nothing was supposed to make sense. Gorgeous.
Journey would have matched this. Don't know if people still play it or don't know it, but not knowing can lead to a craaaazy cool revelation.
There are people that have never played Halo 1 and don't know anything about the story or what happens. They absolutely should not google anything or know anything other than it's a great FPS as they play it.
Ghost Trick
Zelda BOTW and TOTK. Exploring the world at your own pace makes it way more fun and there is no need to lookup anything because they give you enough of an idea of where to go (unless you don't want to waste time searching, but then the question is why are you playing an adventure game if you don't enjoy the exploration). Plus, the shrines are so much more fun to complete when you figure it out yourself instead of just watching a video guide
Inside
NieR Replicant Ver. 1.22 and NieR Automata. Pure experiences.
Doki Doki Literature Club. You won’t experience it right if you know anything about it beforehand.
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Half the fun is figuring out what to do yourself.
Detroit: Become Human. I wish I could play it completely blind! I first got it after watching vids of it of YouTube so I never got the opportunity.
Nier Automata. In my opinion, it's one of the greatest games of all time, and it needs to be experienced in its entirety firsthand.
The forgotten city
I love the title of this thread and then most answers are giving actual spoilers thus making the games less blind for those who haven’t played them…
To The Moon
If you've never played Kotor before, play it without looking ANYTHING up online about it. You'll thank me later.
Journey. It's beautiful and mysterious and relaxing and you should just experience it
Hades
Subnautica
Where are the old school indies at??? Tender Loving Care. The gameplay is a mix of 3d exploration and psychological questions which ultimately shape the game as it progresses. Super fun and strange.
Doki Doki. Even if you read about it, it still wouldn’t make sense, but GOD DAMN would it ruin THAT moment
Red dead 2
