Star Ocean: Till the end of time.

The story twist that occurs roughly 80% into the story made me so mad, I actually still think about that a few times per year and it still gets my blood boiling. Even like 18-19 years later.

It's a phenomenal game though in all other aspects, so it hurts especially since you invested so much into the game and the twist hits pretty late.

I still love my memory of playing that game, but could never get back into it.

Prey 2017 ending

Far Cry 4. The world is beautiful, and I love Far Cry gameplay, but I just didn't like the story. I know you are supposed to dislike Amita and Sabal, but you are literally stuck with them until the final moment of the game. I'm not sure what I was supposed to feel at the end, but I remember feeling like I wasted my time. I literally replayed because I found out you could kill whoever you sided with at the end, and I wanted to kill them both. I still feel waiting at the start is the best ending.

I really liked the first 10 minutes of Outriders, then once you go back into cryo and wake up to what the game actually is I was instantly turned off.

Red Dead redemption 2...when I knew what was going to happen I couldn't continue anymore.

I know it shouldn’t have, but the fact that they don’t show your kitty meeting up with his friends after getting out in Stray soured the entire thing for me

I was having fun playing State of decay 2, then i heard over the radio that the original 3 main characters from the first game are dead. Somehow most of the gameplay afterwards felt a bit more bitter, but still played throught. I was going to even try Heartland after my brother finished it, then after finishing it he was absolutely pissed, spoiled me the ending of Heartland (He was right, it was shit, leaves more questions, and no answers at all), lost all want to play Heartland so decided to skip to Trumbull in the maingame, since i heard there was some unique things to it. This was when it was still riddien with bugs apparently, so it was the final nail in the coffin and we unistalled it, but our interest was already dying with the to twists from before.

Funny enough, most people are apparently convinced that the 3 protagonist from the game dying was probably Lily Ritter´s fault, running away while leaving everyone to die, then saying that they sacrificed for her...which is bullshit, we saw in the first game when it ended that she was spearheading the exit towards Danforth when the first game ended, so the only way she managed to survive was to run pas everyone and run the fuck away.

Fallout 4.

The first half of the game is honestly A+. However once you kill Kellogg, and the BOS appears, the story falls apart, Especially at the Mission "Institutionalized."

I had more of an emotional reaction when I saw Synth Shawn, thinking that was him, than I ever did when father said "Its me, Shaun."

Fable 3. The game was pretty good until the end when it put you on the throne and it all came down to how much money you had at that exact moment so you could fulfill your promises from earlier in the game. Like... I could have gotten more money If my allies would have waited a month, but as soon as you ascend the throne they all ask for cash that very second.

The Last Remnant, the "leveling" system if not understood beforehand can get punishing really fast, i LOVE the game and the story but the leveling system kills it for me, when I was younger i played it on Xbox 360 and was hardstuck at the end of disc 1 because the enemy scaled to a point in which I was powerless (had good skill levels, but not good stats, which can happen on this game) so I had to drop It, sometime in the future I would like to begin playing again and see how far can I get but it pains me a lot to get back on the game again...

Black mesa, the xen part is a drag and lasts too long.

Little Hope... It was so interesting, is it reincarnation? A witch's curse? A demon? And then the twist ending happens and it's the most boring overused shit trope...

The (now unpopular opinion):

Playing Metal Gear Solid 2 and seeing Raiden.

Killed the experience for me when it first came out.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag is not a good Assasin's Creed game

[–] Flukester69@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Starfield and loss of your partner. No followup and no regard by any other npc. My happiness was dissolved but I continued to finish game. Felt like a very unfinished part of the game.

Far Cry 5 ending will never not make me assmad. All that worl, taking back the county from crazy murder drug dealing cultists, uniting the community just to LOL GET NUKED. WHAY YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO THE AUDIO and RAMBLINGS? TOO BAD.

God, I'm so mad.

Halo 5 ruined the franchise for me. I used to be hooked, my Xbox one’s sole purpose of existence was to play Halo 4 and 5.

Halo 5 was an ok game, less frustrating than 4, but like another commenter mentioned it just destroyed everything 4 had built up.

I don’t know about Infinite because i’ve given up on Halo. Cortana’s piece to play in Halo should’ve ended with 4, it was the perfect end to retire old Halo and reinvent Master Chief in 5.

Instead…

Monopoly and uno when people add the house rules they've been using since they were 6 because they hate losing, all it does is make the games longer and thus not fun (imo) [https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-uscellular-us-revc&sca_esv=586679140&sxsrf=AM9HkKkxMjXZFmjyDfr-QMccPgELyjIbKA:1701369150324&q=can%27t+put+draw+on+a+draw+uno+tweet&spell=1&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwigztj-reyCAxXghIkEHREbBAAQBSgAegQIBxAC&biw=412&bih=795&dpr=2.63](friendly reminder that you can't respond to anything your opponent does in uno)(so no "countering" draw cards with other draw cards) and you don't put the money from spots that make you pay in monopoly like utilities under the free parking so "WhOeVeR LaNdS oN iT GeTs ThE MoNeY" the whole point is for one person to bankrupt everyone else

I'm going to get a ton of flack for this. But I was enjoying What Remains of Edith Finch until I reached the ending and just kinda sat there thinking "That's it?". I'm used to extremely vague endings that you search for the meaning for online but this games ending literally meant nothing, nothing happened, zip, nada.

And before people say "You didn't like it cuz you don't like walking sims, go play fortnite or cod". The Stanley Parable is easily one of my favourite games ever and it had less gameplay than WROEF.
