Can't relate to it at all. The years of being in the football doldrums and then finally qualifying for UCL and the first sign of failure and you react like this? What did you think Newcastle were going to do in their first year? Talk about entitled

PSG Dominated the game, they couldve scored 3-4 goals . Your hope is that PSG Draw or lose to Dortmund and Newcastle beat milan at home.
EL might be NU's way to make it to CL next season. Making top 4 isn't gonna be easy with Spuds, Utd, Brighton, Villa breathing down your neck.
Gonna finish City liverpool Arsenal Villa imo
It’s still possible if Newcastle beats Milan
You might be right about the lengthy extra time but you were fortunate to get away with a draw given PSG had dominated possession and had more than 30 shots compared to your 7. I agree with you re Europa League. It's kind of a nothing competition.
Extra time was completely fine.
Only 5 on target...
Lol. You trolling? You think supporters of someone like Leyton Orient or Scunthorpe can't get it up for the EFL trophy because they're playing non-exciting competition? The quality may be higher in some competitions but quality of players does not effect how exciting the games are. Exciting games can come from anywhere.
If you support a team you're supposed to be excited for all their matches.
Imagine not being in Europe for 10 years and then not wanting to watching your club in Europe
Exactly
My dad calls it fast-tracked entitlement.
This.
Absolute peak entitled, spoilt, oil money, sport washer behaviour.
Waaah we got beaten by another oil rich club, I don't want us to play with the poor teams.
Especially when winning the Europa League could well be Newcastle's best chance to get back into the Champions League next season. They are far from guaranteed another top 4 spot but realistically could beat pretty much anyone in the EL in knockout football.
Does winning the Europa League still guarantees you a spot for the CL with the new system?
That's a good point, not sure if the new structure will change that or not. It would be stupid if not as for teams playing in the UEL and UECL the opportunity to qualify for the next tournament up is a bigger prize than the actual trophy or prize money awarded.
LOL
This has to be a bait post.
Not very long ago we were watching them and supporting them play in the championship.
He's not newcastle fan. He's saudi fan
Arsenal fan here. Suck it.
Mate, this is your team's first European season in fucking donkeys years. If you refuse to watch a competition that your team can get a deep run into while playing against similar stature opponents and historical clubs, you're mental. In the knockouts you could be playing the likes of Rangers, Olympiacos, Sporting Lisbon, etc. Massive clubs with history is surely something you could get excited for?
Just comes off like you're sulking about getting unlucky from a dodgy decision, enjoy the journey because it may be a one in a lifetime experience. I got to see my lifelong team (Rangers) get to the Europa League Final beating Leipzig and Dortmund and it will live with me for the rest of my life. Sitting in the same seat as my first ever time watching Rangers against Queen's Park after we got demoted to the bottom of Scottish Football
You barely beat relegation less than 2 years ago and yet now you're moaning about European football? Are you well?
No European football for decades and you're gonna act too good to watch the EUL lmao
Jesus Christ...
The penalty was a joke like many other hand penalties this season.
Anyways I will be rooting for AC Milan to book the ticket for the next round, no sympathy for oil money clubs.
You're being dragged like a prostitute with overdose... You know nothing about football and probably you've been a Newcastle fan for 6 months.
This has to be a bait. It fucking sucks and was a bitter pill to swallow, but come on. 18 months ago we were in a relegation battle. We just went to Paris and drew 1-1 with PSG with a load of injuries and a bench of 3 goalies and a couple of lads studying for their GCSEs ffs. How can you not be proud of the effort they put in? If we beat Milan and get Europa league football that is still fucking amazing. We are in the group of death for crying out loud and Europa league is still a great European trophy to compete for.
A glory hunting Newcastle fan wasn’t something I thought I would see
When was the last time you played in the Europa League? Bored of it already?
2 years ago you'd have absolutely loved to be in the EL.
Newcastle fans man, what is up with them these days. love to make out they are the best, most passionate fans in the world, yet a few years ago the club were giving out free tickets to fill the stadium
Cheating Newcastle
"i'm not exactly keen on swapping out playing milan and dortmund for maccabi haifa and sheriff tiraspol"
That's like bitching about the FA Cup because Weymouth were in it (and got knocked out long before your team entered the competition).
You were robbed. But Psg were well worth the draw , jaysis.
I am a lifelong Newcastle fan.
You are an idiot.
xG was like 5 - 0.5 and the penalty was the 4th situation that could have been given…
Well if you beat Milan & PSG fail to beat Dortmund which are both very plausible scenarios you'll make it into the UCL R16.
But hey if Europa was so easy Newcastle will win it right? Not like teams far greater like LFC or Leverkusen are there or anything..
Pope was the reason you got a point against Milan and then you played like shit home and away against Dortmund. Even if all the stars align and you end up in the round of 16 (which is still possible, but I doubt you know it), your park the bus team will get destroyed by teams like Real Madrid, Bayern or Inter. You're just a small oil club that was lucky to play and win against another small oil club.
Also since you wanted motivation about the Europa League, not only the teams you mentioned play there, but also Leverkusen, Villareal, Betis, Liverpool, West Ham, Brighton, Roma etc. So there are plenty of good and exciting teams, you're just too afraid that you're gonna get destroyed.
Newcastle are Europa League quality. It’s where you belong.
May I ask, for how long are you a Newcastle fan?
Newcastle were 100% robbed, that was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen and I'm an Arsenal fan
