The Princess Bride! Sorry, I guess in my head it was inconceivable that everyone wouldn't already know it.
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means
Couldn't get pregnant?
The eggs were too thick or the swimmers were weak.
You can conceive plans and conceive ideas. So inconceivable fits here.
Now, to be fair, I rarely hear it use this way in English. In Spanish, though. All the time. "You haven't seen this movie? Inconcebible!"
I check a dictionary and it seems to be a good word. Maybe slightly off compared to impossible for example but not a mistake.
What would inconceivable mean otherwise?

Inconceivable is a popular line from the movie and so is the comment above you
Oh! I saw it in another language so I didn't have that ref
Never seen this movie, should I?
You absolutely should. It's goofy, fun, and extremely quotable. Bonus points if you have kids to rope into watching it with you.
Depends. Do you like great movies? If not, probably skip it
I've never met someone who watched it and didn't love it.
The Princess Bride
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
No, this is clearly Saw
You misspelt Dances with Wolvesheads.
Bury my heart at wounded knee
You're in for quite a treat my friend
Strange name for a movie, only if because of how long it is
Dear Zachary. It's a really sweet little film!
Obligatory "you should go read Tress of the Emerald Sea" post
Similar story but with badass heroine. Would love to see it get made into video!
I actually really hated the book, which was a big surprise to me, since I love Princess Bride and most of Sanderson. But man, the narrator was way more grating and unfunny to me than Princess Bride's.
Sanderson usually isn't funny for me, which is usually fine, but Tress relied on humor too much imo
Sorry to hear you didn't like it! I rather enjoy Hoid/Wit's perspective but maybe that's because I knew him before I read Tress?
Edit: If you do not care for Sanderson's humor avoid Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians, it relies on it heavily!
I've read all of cosmere, and I don't care for Hoid in general, though there's a lot about his books I do love. But I tried a few of his YA books (the chalk one, and reckoners) and didn't especially care for them.
Is this a kissing movie?!?
A friend gave me the board game last week, randomly without knowing if I like the movie.
Of course I am eagerly anticipating the first playthrough.
It's just assumed that everyone likes this movie. We're not monsters.
My spouse and I have played a couple times. Everything's decently made, we've had fun with just us, but I can see where having the full 4 would be the best experience.
Can't speak of the solo play. Kinda tempted to set the game up and throw the movie on for it one day, though.
And a note for anyone who missed it, most of the original cast got together for a virtual table read of the script during the pandemic.
[There's also a pandemic home movie version with a whole bunch of actors.]

My app is handling this link to kbin strangely, but I can see it.
I haven't counted my fingers in a while, but it's possible.
Here's a more more direct route if you're one of Dread Roberts' crew... just posted it over on the @13thFloor to preserve the link in case any of the mods here were Humperdinck agents looking for volunteers to test the Pit of Despair.
Ohhh!
Almost forgot to mention - just a heads up re: the finger thing - I think @InigoMontoya is looking for you...
I love this movie. I love the book. I love everything about it.
