This has gone become unbearable especially when Youtube doesn't provide a language search filter. fishing for more clicks is ruining the user experience.

Youtube should do something about that.

I'm from India and there are 18 government approved languages. I know only one and I feel difficulties in finding the right content in English or in my mother tongue.

The point is to mach the language in the title with the language inside the video.

Why trick people to click on your video if they won't understand what you are saying

I think there are 22 officially recognised languages in India.

While I agree, I live in an area where the tech I can afford is similar to what seems popular in India and SEA. I'm a visual learner and often times I end up on that part of YouTube when I need to repair something, and the best I've got is an Indonesian dude breathing solder fumes in the backyard of his makeshift shed at night. And you know what?

That was the most useful repair video I found and it helped a lot. And I found it because the title was in English.

See I used to think this was a feature where it auto translated titles for you because some of the titles are a bit nonsense. Guess not.

Ugh. I've run into this. Even when they are actually speaking English, no one would actually call it understandable English. Very common in technical and engineering related subjects.
