Summary

President Joe Biden has lifted the ban on Ukraine using US-made Atacms missiles for strikes inside Russia, authorizing their use in the Kursk region against Russian and North Korean forces.

This marks the first approval for long-range attacks in Russia, reportedly in response to North Korea deploying 10,000 troops to aid Moscow.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy hinted at imminent strikes, while Russian officials warned of escalating global conflict.

The decision aligns with NATO allies’ condemnation of recent large-scale Russian drone and missile attacks on Ukraine’s energy grid, signaling heightened tensions.

To little too late.

But it would be funny if Z captured Russia, gained access to the blackmail material used to control our politicians and destroyed them with it.

I don't think we're in that timeline. 😞

It would be a pretty on-brand ending to a saga involving two former TV personalities turned head of government. A real daytime soap opera plot line.

Ukraine respecting our policies for use of the weapons we provide them.

Hmm.

This is just Kursk. People are celebrating like they let them target Moscow. They already let Ukraine strike around / across their borders when russians were staging an attack.

Get rid of all of these stupid handcuffs placed on Ukraine. They are fighting for their life ffs.

Imagine if he could ban Israel from murdering children with American weapons.

ISW says that this is just for limited strikes into Kursk. It's not a full carte blanche.
