(the “no” under Don and Elon should probably be “not yet”)

Plus when he ‘offered’ t swift that one time.

[–] formergijoe@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Oh yeah I forgot that one.

[–] EmpathicVagrant@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Wild that it’s happened so many times that we can forget them. I honestly only knew about the once so your list was a revalation.

[–] cerement@slrpnk.net 5 points 1 week ago

“not convicted yet”

[–] lettruthout@lemmy.world 46 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Plus: the drag queens are much more fun.

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

One used my face for a contouring demo. It didn't wipe off completely so I had smoky eyeliner for a day or two afterwards. Kinda dug it.

[–] Belgdore@lemm.ee 7 points 1 week ago

I feel like the same thing happened to JD Vance

As a straight white male, i agree. I used to go to gay a bar down town and had a blast every single time. Plus no one cared if we used either rest room. So i would go into the womens to use drugs and had women come into the mens to do the same. No one gave a second look. Every one there had such a idgaf happy go lucky attitude.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 29 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Lol.

We RE-ELECTED a convicted felon rapist who illegally attempted to overturn an election after being responsible for stripping women's rights and utterly failing in response to the greatest crisis the U.S. has faced since WW2.

Stick a fork in our country because we are done. Cooked. Baked. Served up to the highest bidder.

Just a matter of time now.

It was a worthy experiment while it lasted.

You used to say it was the best country in the world. And it used to be arguably true.

[–] AbsoluteChicagoDog@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

It's still true, provided your net worth is 100 million or more

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 26 points 1 week ago (1 children)

What a legacy, though! Sounds like a lovely human being.

[–] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I mean I don't know my local drag queen so can't really say if those answers are correct

[–] cordlesslamp6891@lemmy.world 14 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

The fact that you don’t know them and never heard of them means the answers are true. If they has done any of those accusations they’d be all over the news/social media and you’ll definitely know about them.

[–] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 3 points 1 week ago

I'm not in the US. I mostly follow our national broadcaster, I miss some serious crime news about celebrities all the time.

[–] Steak@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago

Definitely not true. I don't really know any crimes that are committed by anyone in my community. I don't keep track. But I'm sure I walk past some people sometimes that have committed crimes.

[–] Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The "same lawyer" seems a bit unfair tbh.

He taught at Harvard law school and is seemingly a very good lawyer and a celebrity lawyer.

He had also Mike Tyson, o.j. Simpson, trump and Julian Assange as a client.

He seems to be popular with disliked celebrities

[–] ziggurat@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (2 children)

This comment feels the same as a humble brag... Only it's going in a very different direction. I don't know what this would be called, "accentuate minimization"? "minimize accentuation"? No I am terrible at making up words

[–] Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 1 week ago

I am trying to understand but I have no clue what you mean.

What is your issue? What makes it remotely similar to humble bragging?

No to be rude, but your comment feels very coquelicot... Wondering what the fuck I could possibly mean? That is how much sense yours makes to me.

Why does Matt Gaetz look like a cartoon villain?

[–] InFerNo@lemmy.ml 16 points 1 week ago (2 children)
[–] CritFail@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

I was going to say he looks like the end result of ten generations of incestuous breeding of the Osmonds.

I want to give him a couple rockstars and watch Cornholio come out.

[–] SendMePhotos@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They all look like some trailer park boy somehow made it big.

[–] Stalinwolf@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago

You can definitely create them by genetically splicing characters from the show. I've tried my best below.

Formulae:

Barb + Sam Loscoe = Donald Trump

Randy + Donald/Donna = Matt Gaetz

Lahey + Cyrus = Elon Musk

because I like ruining simple diagrams, I would like to point out that many Republicans have accused drag queens of sexual harassment, usually without any evidence...

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Also drag queens, being people, are a group that does contain some pedophiles. It’s just that it’s likely on par with the general population unlike republican leadership which disproportionately represents them.

[–] ziggurat@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Every accusation is an admission

[–] GladiusB@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

That's because they are stupid and can't actually find reasons to look at themselves

[–] Default_Defect@midwest.social 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I don't think I have just one local drag queen, but the result is surely the same.

[–] ziggurat@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

There are a few rare exceptions though. Like if your local drag queen is JD Vance. Mister if he's not allowed to make a non-nuclear family, then everyone else has to also not be allowed to do that, him self.

EDIT: I recalled another exception. If your local drag queen is Rudy Giuliani... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LOUHO7SVPM

For JD Vance in drag, it's a simple Google image search, before he makes it illegal to host those images

[–] vordalack@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

How come they're called drag queens but they never actually drag anything? Explain that libs.

[–] ftbd@feddit.org 3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

And they're usually not drag racing either

[–] uebquauntbez@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

But the 3 guys are drag queens too, they drag all down.
