Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Did anyone see the interview with one of his victims on Good Morning Britain this morning? Christ on a bike. The guy said, in a matter-of-fact sort of way that Smyth used to cane him on the arse a couple of hundred lashes once a week or so and he had to wear nappies because of the blood.
Same old story, different actors. Somehow leaders convince themselves again and again that ‘protecting the organisation’ is more important than integrity and decency.
So he should. I don't know how he could live with himself knowing he's allowed the guy to continue his abuse.
He's an ex oil exec isn't he? Amorality (at best) shouldn't be a surprise at this point.
Because churches and protecting paedos is standard fare.
Well, "senior colleagues" told him not resigning was the thing to do. So add cowardice to the list.
