Built-in Defender for 10 is fine, I wouldn’t bother with an antivirus for Android, just exercise some discretion in what you install.

ProtonVPN might have a free tier you can use.

Windows 10, use windows defender with Firefox and ublock origin

Vpn: Get hacked accounts on plati.market or wmcentre.net surfshark works fine and costs like 200 rubles. If you want a legally paid for service go with mullvad

i would suggest going one step further and also using NoScript in Firefox, but it does make you mark sites as trustworthy.

I would counter the NoScript suggestion and just use uBlock Origin's JS blocker. You can default all sites to off, and then enable it on sites you wish to grant permission to run arbitrary code in your web browser. You can do a lot more than that with uBlock Origin, too.

ooh ill have to check that out, didnt know that existed

edit: only downside of Ublock is that its a blanket block on all javascript for the website. i watch sports streams and will unblock the URLS i need to view it with NoScript and noscript gives a nice list of what can be blocked.

In "Medium Mode" you can set it to allow JS (or not) but block all third party JS/frames. Then you can selectively enable domains per page.

ive been using AirVPN for years, they have android and Windows. They frequently have sales too so you can get 2 years for pretty cheap. Free VPNs arent worth it, they are making money another way and that's shady.

i dont really have an anti virus suggestion, i don't think they are necessary if you know what to look for on the internet and know what to avoid. if you run NoScript and UBlock Origin(Chrome or Firefox) and know what internet sites are not trustworthy its not an issue. i used to use AVG on Windows but thats been years. Antivirus on Android is pointless.

i feel like i never see it recommended anytime someone asks for VPN suggestions. But it's been great, and definitely wait for one of their sales. There's always one around christmas.

Anti-virus isn't really needed, but if you're gonna run one pirate a copy of Emisisoft because everything else is a joke imo. As far as VPNs go, there is no good free option. Maybe a free tier for ProtonVPN exists but I'm sure it has massive limits to make it viable. Mullvad is the best one you actually pay for, but you can get a hacked NordVPN account for like $5 for 3 years so that's cheaper
