Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.

Author of Cat Shit One the funny Vietnam story of rabbits killing people. I should have known when the manga uses slurs but I over looked it. But judging off his other work (all Wehraboo shit) and this twitter that by just looking at it does not look good. fml

Many such cases, Attack on Titan guy is supposedly one too. Not that I like him or ever paid any attention to AoT, but I've heard he's a Japanese war crime denier.

Yeah, AOT is VERY fascist.

There's a character that is a depiction of a Japanese war criminal iirc and he's one of the "good" guys, which is also the entirety of the military too. It also makes the viewer root for the military coup and the only answer for every big problem presented is literal genocide.

There's also zero leftist movements present in this world, like not even a protest asking for the basic stuff the people on the outer walls and on the underground don't have while the inner walls have everything.

And to top it off a lot of fans were openly spewing the same genocidal fascist rethoric the story promotes for years while using an Eren or Floch pfp. It's genuinely insane to me how this happened.

I can't find the original blog post that goes in depth on it, but this Gamerant article summarizes it pretty well.

I had to look up which show, but Hetalia which is already.....a lot going on there, got cancelled in Korea for depicting their Korea personification as always doing SA and as copying Japan essentially implying Korea is just a mini-Japan wannabe. I remember seeing an otherwise decent anime youtuber complain about that and somehow not get why Korea cannot "get over it"

Yeah I've heard about AoT and it's fashy undertones.

I got fascist undertones from My Hero Academia and stopped reading long ago. Was I wrong?

Just the idea of the protagonists being cute cuddly rabbits killing a bunch of camels who are usually depicted as surly and belligerent was kind of a red flag.

Could be worse: You could have been a fan of Rurouni Kenshin
