My midwestern roots taught me that Culver's is for date night, Taco Bell is for sustenance.

virgin fastfoodheads vs chad fast-casual enjoyer
cava/sweetgreen/gusto/chipotle
yes i am my username
I just went to chipotle for the first time in a decade and I liked it. idk what that says about me.
Every meal at Culver's exceeds my entire daily calorie intake goal.
Freddie's is like if Culver's actually seasoned their burgers
taco Bell has vegan food so it's better
Krystal/White Castle (fuck you , you're not using regional fast food to locate me) has plant based sliders, but honestly the wait times are so unreal that I could eat at a local sit down restaurant in a similar amount of time so idk, fast food has overall really fallen off
Mcdicks shrinking the food so much that they can bring back the old big mac size and call it some new thing and charge like $20 is absurd
Taco Bell would like a word
Taco bell has raised their prices more than any other chain.
They are doing "AI" bullshit with their drive thru now, miss me with that bullshit
and i'd like a drink for less than $5
I'll eat at Culver's if there's not a Braum's handy. Braum's is top tier burger slop and cheap compared to national chains. One of the finest Treat Palaces in all of Burgerdom IMO. Culvers's is good too.
The cheapest is still Cookout though. A tray is still under $10 and comes with a burger, 2 sides (one of which can be a burger), and a drink.
"hello yes please I would like four quesadillas and a quart of cheerwine" statements dreamed up by the utterly deranged
"That'll be $8.45 please"
Culver's onion rings are absolutely goated. But if we're going Midwest supremacy or maybe more specifically Chicagoland supremacy Buona Beef is hands down the best.
I’m too much of a New Englander to know what this is. It’s good?
It's a burger joint, I'd consider it the Chick-fil-A of burger joints. More of a focus on sitting down inside than drive through, decent prices, and decent/consistent food.
fucking CRINKLE CUT FRY culvers? "oh we have ice cream we call custard, we don't have to make the most important side good"----words from a joint run by utterly uncalibrated midwesterners
That's why you sub out the fries for cheese curds
i'm tryna eat a meal here not create a store for my winter hibernation
If you're sensitive to lactose this meal comes with an extra side of pain
The onion rings fucking whip
What if we had ice cream but made it worse?
Walleye sandwich, cheese curds and a concrete mixer could pull me out of the deepest depression known to man.
The first time I had culvers I was the most hungover I had ever been in my life and my gf brought it home and it was the best burger I ate in my entire life
The second time I had culvers I wanted to share the cheese curds and standing in line to order I was thinking "don't say cheese turds. Don't say cheese turds. Don't say cheese turds" and then I ordered cheese turds and the woman working laughed and gave me a free drink
The closest Culver's to me is over 250 miles away and it makes me so sad. Luckily, I get to the midwest once a year or so and get to partake.
Sorta silly saying one slop shop is better than another. End of the day it’s all fucking garbage.
Most food in america is slop, we can still differentiate between levels
Americans have over 100 words for slop
get a load of this guy
culvers slaps, one of my favourite food places to go when i go to the US
I normally would agree, but I feel like they cut back on the seasoning for their patties. Still one of the best though and their veggie burgers are genuinely solid.
Culvers is trash, it gave me the shits the only time I ate there
designed for the gut biome of an illinois man that has eaten 1kg of beef and 1kg of cheese daily for the past 20 years
Counter argument: Dairy Queen has a better menu in every single way.
I thought I hated DQ burgers. Turns out I just hate ketchup, and they pour it on.
Idk, I'm not American. The only American fast food I've been to is McDonald's, KFC and Burger King, and KFC is the only one that's halfway edible.
But here in Ireland, we have a chain called Supermacs. Their burgers? Awful. Their tenders? Abominable. Their fries? Amazing. The best garlic fries in existence. Beautiful stuff. Every time I get high I go to Supermacs and get their garlic fries.
I went to culver's once the cheese curds weren't very good
I feel like insulting cheese curds is a Midwestern causus belii
I'm not insulting cheese curds I'm insulting culver's cheese curds. They got no squeak. Squeakless.
you gotta dip em in ranch
A good curd should be able to stand on its own
pretty sure there's no head involved.. fastfoodass maybe?
I used to love Culver's like 10 years ago, the last several times I had it, everything was just terrible, too salty, too dry, terrible custard. Maybe it was the locations I went to, but uniformly nowhere near as good as it used to be.
